Frantic, because my "check engine" light was on and I had to make a trip that morning to a doctors appointment in Mercer County, I recalled that Id saved an ad from this place. There was a coupon on it for a free "check engine" light reading. I stopped in waving my coupon and explained my urgency. I told them Id go to the appointment and come back for any necessary work, if they determined that it was nothing demanding immediate attention. They handled my car immediately. The man with the "reader" reported that it was the fuel sensor which he re-set. He could have taken advantage of the situation, but he didnt. They even gave me back the coupon to use another time. I plan to go there when my next oil change is needed. I have a mechanic I trust but hes all the way in Union County. Now I dont feel so vulnerable about taking my car to someplace in Ocean County. I was so pleased with their ethics that I went through all the effort of joining some Google feature so I could write this review. I am also telling a Brick friend, whos feeling very skeptical about the place shes taken her car, about them.

I met Jay for the first time today and I can tell he was an honest guy that runs an honest shop. He fixed my car knowing that I was up against the clock. I will bring all my vehicles to Bayside from now on. Keep up the good work!!!
