UPDATED- Case in Point. This is how Brielle Sports Club deals with a disgruntled member. Please read Brielle Sports Club Business Response lol! Read closely because I don’t think this “joe” knows what a coward is, or how to write on a third grade level, (proper use of their and there, should be a requirement for a business response). What did I have to be ashamed of exactly? I told one of your employees why I was canceling. I would define you as a coward. Did you not just direct one of your new employees to take care of your dirty work? You, and your sales team do in fact tell people that you are getting a pool. I have no reason to lie about this, along with dozens of other people. Also, why would I call your gym if I expressed in person why I no longer wanted to be a member of your establishment? 1. When I signed up the salesperson (not my friend) said to sign up now before the rates go up when you get a pool. FACT 2. To get the steam room to work you would have to walk out of locker room and ask someone to turn it on. FACT 3. The spin bikes @ WOW are better than Brielle. FACT 4. Employees- Yes are fantastic and I am not friends with the ones that got fired. They came up to me and told me the reasons at WOW and other establishments. FACT I know a number of people that dealt with similar issues. Also, I am not a coward since my full name is on this review. A smart business man would rectify these issues, and know the customer comes first.

My husband and I received 4 free day passes when we moved to the area, unfortunately we couldnt use all 4 because they are strictly for new customers, which we were not after our first visit with the passes. Very nice, clean gym lots of equipment and looks like a pretty awesome class schedule available! Unfortunately, it would $80 a month for my husband and I to become members and that just isnt realistic for a one income household, major bummer. Wish it was more affordable! It was an awesome clientele and I felt totally comfortable unlike a lot of other gyms! Sadly we cant afford to attend! **Update, its about a month later and I am incredibly impressed with the Brielle Sports Club customer service. After seeing the review posted and my concern of the affordability of the memberships I was contacted by Joe, the owner of the gym. My review caught his eye and my husband and I were invited into the gym to discuss why were not going to become members. My husband and I spoke to Jim via phone call and one of the lovely staff members, Sam. We left being members of the Brielle Sports Club. Their interest in our personal concerns and their flexibility was excellent and I am excited to begin training at this gym!! 5 stars well deserved by customer service, lovely staff team, and the personable owner!

I love this club the instructors are great and the best in the area.I moved down to Brielle 5 years ago and tried some of the clubs in the area, Once I tried Brielle I loved it. The staff is so friendly , the equipment is new and very clean. I love that they are a private club especially in the summer,they are very member friendly. I also love their new club in Wall has a lot of equipment. I was reading the past review from that North Jersey lady I think shes upset mostly because its a locals only club. I disagree with her the staff is awesome I think shes just bitter because she was trying to use the club for the weekend. Well hope she likes Golds no offense there are alot of members here that transferred from that club. I highly recommend Brielle Sports and thinks its the best club. Jen Z.

The service at Brielle Sports Club is awful. The gym itself is great and so are the classes offered, but having to deal with the staff on the phone and in person on the front desk is infuriating. I would not recommend becoming a member here.

Very friendly staff, clean towels for every visitor, lots of lockers, and clean equipment. They also offer a variety of services. The gym feels very open unlike a lot of the cramped places Ive been to sound here.

This club is great. Super clean, nice staff, lots of classes and personal trainers in shape and know their stuff. I have met more people in six weeks than I met at Golds in eighteen months.
