Was a member for a year. And then I have to cancel the policy. I followed on the direction on cancelling. Went to the post office mail out the letter via Certified Mail on July 6th. On the USPS website, it indicated that it was delivered on the 10th. According to a representative from Planet Fitness, as long as the cancellation letter was received by the 10th of each month, the billing on the 17th will not occur. So i thought, okay, i made it to the 10th deadline, I will not get bill for my membership on the 17th. So the 17th came (today), i checked my stmt, and guess what, planet fitness charged me for the membership fee for this month. So i called up planet fitness, and i just ask them about the cancellation policy first to make sure Ive done all my steps correctly and make sure that i got the deadline correct. Samantha from Planet Fitness told me that as long as they receive the letter on/before the 10th of each month will be fine, we will not get charge on the 17th. After this, my next statement was, well I send in my letter and according to post office website it said that my letter was delivered on the 10th, why did I still get charged today for the membership? Her response was, oh we just received the letter yesterday. I have your letter right in front of me. We just put it into the system yesterday, thats why you are getting bill today because you did not send the letter by the 10th. And then I told her that I have a tracking number and on the USPS website, it said it was delivered on July 10th at 1:44PM. Samantha actually said to me, well, it said delivered, they probably mean that it delivered to the post office on that day, and then the letter did not reach our planet fitness until yesterday. you can go to the post office and find out what happen, and then have them write a letter and give it to the post man and have them deliver it to me and then we will forward it to the billing dept and refund it to you. ARE YOU SERIOUS? what kind of post office would do such thing?? and I argued with her on the phone that when it said DELIVERED on the website, it means that the mail was given over properly to the recipient. and in the end, she is still telling me to provide proof that the letter was delivered on July 10th instead of the July 16th that she see. I already have the certified mail receipt and the tracking number to show that it was delivered on the 10th !!! what else is she looking for ??? so now, I faxed over the tracking number and the whole transaction showing what time the mail was at where and when was it delivered. I am patiently waiting for what will be her response. TO BE CONTINUE...

One of the cleanest gyms around. If youre just starting out lifting weights or more cardio focused, then this is the gym for you. It has many machines for cardio. The only reason I wont give them 5 stars is because their dumbbells only go up to 60 lbs and they do not have a squat rack or benchpress. There are other alternatives, but for someone who cant bare with the lost of either of these I would suggest not joining. That being said, if youre really on a budget and really hate other cheap smelly gyms and can handle a change in your usual routine of heavy lifting, this gym is perfect for you. Parking is a problem, but theres also a train station right outside.

Horrible service! Ever since many of the new workers came in the fall of 15, they dont know how to take care of the place. Management is horrible. Me and my friend had to wash our hands in the many about 6 sinks and none had soap, so my friend went over to one of the workers in the front and each worker kept asking the other if they knew how to refill the soap dispenser none did, but they sent someone to the back to attempt to refill the soap, no one came. We waited for about 10 minutes before we became fed up and left. This is the evening crew (not overnight)

For a very low price, you get access to a lot of equipment. The best part is that they are open 24 hours Monday through Thursday so you can stay or arrive whenever. Another great thing I love about Planet Fitness is their motto of a judgement free zone. Everyone here looks as if they enjoy their time are very dedicated towards working out. There is a lot of diversity here. And by that I mean people of all colors, couples, pairs, groups of 3 people, etc. Id recommend giving this place a try for a few times!

wanted to join Planet Fitness because it was cleaner than any other gym I have been to. However, they asked to bring in a void check. I asked if I can just pay with my credit card, and they said "no, we need a void check" which basically gives them permission into your private savings/checking account. This sounded fishy and I did not join, lost $10 for nothing. Not worth it, plus people have a hard time canceling. Absolutely horrible and inconvenient.

Очень много народу. Мало штанг, гантелей. Тренажёры не на все группы мышц. Маленькие шкафчики. Нет бассейна, нет сауны. Чтобы пройти в раздевалку ты идёшь через весь зал в обуви с улицы. Бахил нет.

Overalls the gym is okay aside from the fact that they double and triple bill you a month. I am very pissed because they billed me 3 times this month! $65 bucks !!! for a $20 a month membership. Absolutely ridiculous. Last month I was double billed! How do these people run their business!!! Beware everyone check your bank statements for any planet fitness!! They may be doing it to you too!

I have a black card and dont normally go to this gym but went here twice because it is near where I live. Any time of the day, whether it is 11AM or 10PM, there are tons of meat heads here and youll have to wait a bit to be able to use the strength training machines, dumbbells or barbells. For cardio, this is the best and cheapest gym there is.

Very clean. Many machines available. Nice staff. Professional trainer. Access to alot of equipment, wonderful spacing between each of them, tanning machine, and body enhancer, definitely diversity which i do appreciate. The beauty of it all is that it is opened 24hrs 5 days and 12 for Sat and Sun, that is a mega plus for me.

after i canceled my membership, which i had to do in personm, plantness fitness kept charging me monthly dues even after i canceled, and in order to fix it, they want me to come in in person again!! they make it impossible to cancel, so dont join in the first place or give them your debit or credit card!!! This gym is my favorite in the neighborhood. Its very clean they have a wide variety of workout machines on both floors. The gym has workout classes and personal trainers if thats what your into. The best of all is that the gym is open 24 hours so if you work late you can still go work out any time of the day!! :)

Decent sized Planet Fitness location. 2 story gym with cardio on the top floor. Clean working treadmill is basically all I need. Peak hours are usually after work 5-7PM. I usually stay away from peak hours and all is fine. But Ive only been there twice, in 2 years. So this may not be the most thorough review.
