Worst place to get anything fixed. I had a broken screen, but it was still in working matter. One day it decided to stop working so I went to this place do get it fixed. He said he could fix it for 90 so I said ok. I get a call saying that my camera and speaker we broken. Mind you, the only part that was broken was the top part of my screen. So I called bullshit, but said whatever. I just wanted my phone to be fixed. When i get the phone, it worked, but i notice a scratch at the bottom. I knew I didnt want to give him any more money so I didnt think much about it. A few days past and my phone starts to glitch. It wouldnt let me type some letters. Then it wouldnt let me type at all. SO this being said, i went again. They cleaned it and said hope it works now. When i got home, it was even more glitchy the it was before! A few days pass and it gets worse. Then one night, I couldnt even touch the left side of the screen. So I went back and asked him what was wrong with it. This uneducated kid comes out and says that i dropped my phone, causing there to be a scratch, therefore it being glitchy. I swear to god that i have never dropped and I try to explain to him that the scratch was there when he gave me the phone after he fixed it the first time. Then the manager comes in and I try to talk to him, but he says i cant deal with this from a 13 year old girl and continues to help someone else. I understand he has to help other, but the way he cut me off was rude and disrespectful. Pros -many know that this place is horrible Cons -overpriced -dirty area -very rude -uneducated -takes longer the said TIP- Go to your nearest mall and fix it there for a much cheaper price and better quality.

In one word: Horrible. I wanted to fix my TV, and took it to them. I got probably the worst customer service of my life. They were going to call me but never did. So I had to call them, just to get notified that they had not started working on it 5 days after of taking it there. These people treat you as if they were making you a favor and don`t treat you as client. Probably one of the worst parts that they charged 40 bucks upfront just to open it. They say it goes towards the repair at the end; I was kind of fine with that. But the biggest problem was when they diagnosed my TV falsely to get money from me. They wanted over 200 dollars to buy parts and other stuff which I refused. When I got my TV back, it was not hooked up correctly: Everything was loose and put some screws in a bag. These rude and mean people just want to get money with these tricky methods. So as mad as I was I took it to another repair center and got my TV fixed for 70 dollars in the next day. I wish I never had visited such a bad place that only stole my money and wasted my time. The only thing I could do was to file a complaint with NJDCA. Feel free to say that you had no record for me and explain everybody what you do and your experience. And do not forget about who wrote the positive feedbacks too.

Update: Jaser, It was not a free diagnosis. I paid 40 bucks and have receipt to prove it. After taking 40 bucks, you would not tell me what was wrong with my PC. All I got was most slimy sales pitch and wont tell me what is wrong with it. Original Review: Deceptive and fraudulent owner. However, he WOULD NOT tell me what exactly is wrong with my computer unless I give him another 250 bucks to fix it. He would be extremely vague about what components he tested and would not give me diagnosis. Worst of all, when I went back and physically inspected some parts, he has applied heat sink paste under my CPU to sabotage it. That way it wont work and I have to call him.... He comes off very silmy. I find all this reviews hard to believe from other people. Regardless, BEWARE! Go to microcenter for help. Alot faster and cheaper.

Last Options

I just want thank you for the excellent service you had done for me last weekend on repairing my 52” Sony TV. I would defiantly recommend anyone who wants to get their electronic items repaired correctly in the first time with a very reasonable price is to take it to JR Electronics. I notice JR Electronics main goal is to have you as repeated and satisfied customers, not like other shops who all what they care about is to take all your money and they careless if you come back or not. , but and I will be sure to go back to JR for all my electronics repairs.

JR was very responsive when I called about my TV screen going blank suddenly. He came to my house within 24 hours of my call to examine the TV and explain to me what the problems and price range could be to fix. He had to take TV back to shop for a part and kept in touch with me about status of problem. Within 48 hours I had my TV hanging back on bedroom wall working perfectly. JR is very friendly, provides good customer service and fair pricing. He seems like a very fair and honest businessman. I would recommend him to anyone.

This place worked pretty well for me. I had them fix a TV for me and a computer that was broken and no was able to fix it. I suggest if anyone who has a broken TV or computer to come to see JR TV and Computers first because not only do they repair your device but make you feel at home with them and treat your equipment was their own. Im glad to have found this place any other place cannot be as good in knowing what they do. Jay is a man of his word and on time. Very impressive, Thumps up

Tried to get a phone fixed from JR electronics the guy told me it would be a couple of days after a week of waiting he finally gets back to me and says the phone is fixed when I receive the phone back it was all glitchy and I could not even use it to type or use any of the apps I ask him to fix an iPhone 6 and he charged me $150 and I was he gave me whether a broken phone do not go here.

Dont go here, if you need something simple done by all means but the price will be way too high. If you need something repaired or a question about anything other than common knowledge electronics they will do what they can to sell you something. Review -Overpriced -Not experienced -Scams you into getting products.
