Had brakes done by one mechanic there a few months ago, and he was cool. Let me look at the car as it was up, and explained thoroughly to me what was wrong. Pointed out that back brakes needed to be done, but could wait (as well as broken sway bar which he also said could wait). So when my exhaust broke off my car recently (not related to anything they did) I took my car back to them. Saw a different mechanic this time, was not allowed in the garage other than to get stuff out of my car. Told me my transmission was shot. My car has a smidge over 100K miles on it and should not have a shot transmission. Left the car there, told them to fix the exhaust but not the tranny due to the fact that about 10 other people I talked to about the issue said it was prolly back pressure from the shot exhaust. They fixed the exhaust for more than they told me it would be the day before. Picked the car up, put it in drive and the whole car shook from the shift into drive. Which it didnt do the day before. I definitely now need a transmission. I dont know what they did to my car, but the trans definitely got worse while it was there. DONT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!!!!!!!

I just came from Interstate car care after a repair of my Chevy Impalas air conditioning system and radiator. Again we are very happy with the service we received and the work that was done by Frank and his staff . Weve been taking our cars to Interstate for a few years now and have always been extremely satisifed with Franks honesty and empathy and the quality of the work done by Frank and his staff. Tammy is great to deal with at the front desk and Frank is never too busy to take our cars and usually our cars are fixed the same day and most importantly the work is done right so we dont have to make repeat trips for the same issue.Frank also alerts us to any potential problems and gives us options so that we can make an informed decision on the repairs that are done. As a result we are loyal customers and will continue to be. I highly recommend Interstate Car Care,

I have been having my 2005 Honda serviced there for years,because of their knowledge of my car s needs, they have provided me with a trouble free car for many years ...They are EXCELLENT !!! Interstate Auto Repair is able to fix and repair my car quickly and at very reasonable prices, not like the overpriced charges of dealerships. They have provided me with back and forth car service to my home and job , while my car was being repaired there. The staff Bruce and Frank always are knowledgeable and get the services done quickly and perfect. I have recommended this Interstate Auto Repair to all my friends and family over years and will continue to do so. GREAT Auto Repair Center !!!!!

I have 2008 chevy impala that had a vibration. I went to multiple places for this issue and the problem never got solved. After hundreds of dollares i was speaking to a friend who takes there car to Frank and Bruce at Interstate Car Care. They spoke very highly of them so i decided to give them a try, what would it hurt at this point lol. i contacted there office and spoke to Frank who I made an appointment with them for the next day. After they looked it over he found and corrected the issue for me. He stated that it was an inner and outer tie rod end. They repaired the problem for a reasonable price in one day. i think i found a new home to bring my cars.

I went here to Interstate Car and have been coming here for years, this shop does a great job on repairs and car maintenance. They do everything quickly and the prices are very reasonable. The staff is always welcoming and very helpful with any questions i have. Extremely Reasonable prices, Knowledgeable, Service/Timeliness, Take the Extra Service-Steps, WILL Return AGAIN, WILL Recommend to friends. I still Drive here to Hackettstown NJ from PA or have my Vehicle towed to this specific shop based on how excellent their work is.

These guys are terrible to work with. I had my truck inspected there and they failed for not having a catalytic converter. COme to find out this vehicle was manufactured without one. Even after receiving a letter from GMC stating the vehicle was manufactured without one they refused to reinspect. Further they kept the $39.95 they charged for failing me improperly. No thanks Frank. Check before failing.

These guys are class acts. Since I moved to Jersey in 2006 I have always brought my car to Frank. His crew is knowledgeable and have always provided me with great service. I sometimes enjoy working on my own car but when my car projects take a turn for the worse Frank is always there to take over and finish the job. I have no qualms recommending Frank to anyone in the Hackettstown area.

This is a great shop and the guys here are Fair & Honest! The prices are good and there is no nonsense. I wouldnt bring my cars anywhere else! They thoroughly explained to me what repair was required and they even offered to drive me to my job or home! I am also pleased with the repair work they did. I will definitely go back to them in the future.

Stay away from this place and save yourself some money!!!!! They told me I needed an alternator and that it would cost over $800 just for the new alternator!!!! Thought price was insane so I took my car to the dealer and they tested the alternator and said it was good. Long story short I filed a complaint with Better Business Bureau

Been bringing my families cars here for a few years now, wouldnt go anywhere else. They are fast, and reliable. I use them for the routine maintenance that I cant do myself, as well as for the occasional dreaded "check engine " light. They always get it done..period .Thanks guys, for all the jobs well done!

TOTAL RIP OFF. Theyll give you an estimate, you walk in to pick it up and suddenly its 100 dollars more than they originally told you. Youll end up paying less at a dealership whos labor rate is 30 more an hour, but theyll only charge you 2 hours for a 2 hour job, not 5 hours for a 2 hour job. Con artists.

This is where I take my car every time theres a problem with it. My dad usually does most of the work on my 15+ year old BMW, and whenever he gets stuck, this is where we go. People there are great and super friendly. Kind of place you can go and become a regular, they always remember their repeats.

This place is a rip off! Stay away. I was charged $42.50 for a regular low-beam headlight bulb replacement (not LED or Xenon, it was $8 bulb for 2007 Honda Accord). On the side note: Customer waiting room stinks like people was smoking there for years. Once again, stay away from this place!

Great service, honest pricing. They explained everything to me on what was wrong with my car. they did not try to sell me anything I didnt need. I explained my financial issues and they worked with me and we made a repair schedule. I would def. recommend them to my friends and family.
