I wanted to buy my sister snow tires for Christmas and researched different tires until I found that the Bridgestone Blizzak WS-80 were consistently lauded for their winter traction. I found the best price on TireRack and called Firestone to see if they would match the price. I spoke to Joe on the phone and he was very helpful and friendly and he gave me an out the door quote for purchase and installation where he was able to beat the TireRack price for the tires. On the day of the appointment when I met my sister at the Firestone store, Joe was there and again he was very friendly and informative. While my sisters car was being done I think there was a shift change because I heard Joe tell the guys to make sure the wheels are torqued. I was thankful for that after reading another review on here, obviously they have learn from any mistakes they might have made in the past. The snows got put on just in time because the next few days had icy conditions and my sister was extremely impressed with the performance of her new winter tires.
Im a regular there because of the credit, so lets just put that out there first. They certainly can take care of my car, but sometimes I get referred to my dealer for something incredibly simple, even when I tell them what is exactly needed done. They dont claim they cant do it, just claim it doesnt work (though it works at the dealers miraculously). I work with tech on a regular basis and that is infuriating. For most everything else, its alright. The wait time is always at minimum an hour, even if you have an appointment. I think my average time waiting on my car is three to four hours. No joke.
Chris Dye at Firestone gives you a outstanding customer service experience, was informative of the needs of my vehicle with no pressure. Chris was very forth right about the offers available at Firestone, which showed me he cared about the cost of the servicing of my vehicle. I highly recommend to anyone who would like a trust worthly experience at a Firestone Complete Auto Care, to see Chris Dye. Winter is coming, my vehicles are ready which is peace of mind!
I posted a review just the other day and would like to clarify that it was of no fault by the staff working at Gibbs court firestone that my tire rotation was not performed it was due to a computer glitch which did not inform the firestone team of the additional service required.On that I would always recommend them for a great service and look forward to my next professional auto service with the crew there.Keep up the good work.
This place is great. Ive been to other firestones in different cities and theyre not nearly as good. These guys dont upsell me and my car always comes back with what it needs. Brought it in today for a full synthetic oil change, front brake service and tpms repair. Price was fine with the $60 off sale. Tpms light is off, brakes dont squeak anymore and my alignment is better. Thanks!
too busy to get a repair done. went there for just a simple tire rotation. first time in afternoon..." there are lots of car ahead of you." went there at evening.. still "lots of car ahead of you..". they are too busy for a 5 min tire rotation. i regret of buying tire from firestone. unlike mavis they have only few location and crowded all the time.
Pros: Very thorough, and very likeable. I am not doubting their level of competence at all. Cons: Complete rip off. Was charged $62 for my oil change. Thats 3x what I usually pay. I accept some responsibility for just accepting someone else on word of mouth and not actually doing my own leg work but I really should have.
The manager looks and presents him self as a crack head drug dealer. I was wasting his time to get tires put on my vehicle. very unprofessional behavior. He obviously parties on his on time too much I believe. Go to the in monticello ny instead. They are good people.
I will never, ever go back. I took my sons car there for a simple inspection. My son comes home 3 HOURS later with a bill of $160!!!!! They took advantae of my son because he was young. I am telling everyone about my horrible experience with them.
You get what you pay in service. I came in to get warranty work done and they are forcing me to take my tires. When all they had to do was print a label and hold them until tomorrow. :( their excuse being they dont have room in the stock room.
This place is awful. Nothing but a joke. Failed my inspection over a "break light" that is only a reflector on my trunk. They also claimed my tie rods were loose when I just had front end work done on my car. Just searching for money.
Everybody here is personally invested in making your vehicle as safe as possible. The mechanics are very knowledgeable and are not shy about their work, and are happy to share their experience. Five stars!
They tried to scam me and told me my motor was seized up and that I would need a new engine. Its clearly not seized up if the engine still turns over with the turn of the key. Stay away from these crooks.
Made arrangements for a specific time slot and was told it wouldnt be ready till end of day (6hrs after appointment on a 2015 28000 mile vehicle. Very sad. Not great enough. NY safety inspection.
horrible place, went in for a tune up, no warning lights on dashboard, came out with a check tire pressure light a week later. they said there was a nail in the tire. i call money grubbers on this.
I had the appointment at 10 and they didnt even touch the car after leaving it for 2 hours and I just needed an oil change. At the end, they took care of the problem fast
Do NOT take your vehicle here. They do more harm than good and will not fix their mistakes. Horrible customer service and terrible mechanics if they can be called that
My family has been using this facility for several years and several cars. They have always been nice to us and I have not felt like we were taken advantage of.
Bought 4 new tires for my Expedition and they didnt tighten the lug nuts. They sheared off while I was driving. Definitely NOT professional service.
Been going there since I move to Middletown ten years ago. Their customer service is excellent. They have always taken great care of my cars.
