I dont say this lightly: the Easter Buffett was the worst experience I ever had at a restaurant. I was genuinely embarrassed for my guests. Some people could find nothing but rice and potatoes after 15 minutes in line for one of the two food stations. People at the top of the line would wait forever next to empty food trays, waiting for the next delivery that was always too little for the people waiting. Even the desert table ran out of food, and the patrons resorted to banging their plates in protest. I have never seen, or experienced, a social event this badly managed and served. If the management of the place had any concern for their guests, they would have refunded the payment of everyone in the place. Anyone looking for a Portuguese experience GO SOME PLACE ELSE. There are lots of fantastic alternatives in the ironbound of Newark.

I had my wedding here on 7/26/2013, the whole organization was very nice...they made sure my day went absolutely wonderful...the food was magnificent, the dance floor is huge and once it was decorated it turned into magic...It was s ooo much food my family couldnt believe it and the drinks kept coming, omg...they assisted me with some ideas but made allllll of my visions come true to light...and MY PICTURES came out outstanding...very efficient and I have not one complaint...The DORSEYS

This place us nasty- always has been always will be. No matter how many years pass, how many trees they try to plant outside, how many rats they try to hide- the place will never change. Either will the greasy people there. Not even a GED is required. The food sucks, the people suck. And for big parties- weddings etc. Eat all the food- bring it home if you have to- it is served the next day to the public- YUCK!!!!

I had a very relaxing time at the Mediterranean Manors Mothers day luncheon. The Food was edible and ambiance was pleasant. Our waiter was great. He made sure to check on us every so often at the right time. My family really enjoyed themselves and my 7 year daughter even enjoyed dancing. I recommend this as a at least one time experience.

My first time at the Mediterranean Manor and was not sure what to expect since there were mixed reviews but the food was Good, Hot,Fresh and the overall look of the catering hall was clean and nice. Sometimes you cant always go by what others say you just have to check it out for yourself! I would recommend this place!

Love the food here i dont feel that there is a "dense smoke" at all.....They have a great restaurant and also a Hall for parties and weddings etc and the per person price was outstanding!! My wedding came to $2200 for 60 people!! GREAT SERVICE the manager Marco helped me so much with everything!

This is the second year in a row that weve had our Christmas party here. The food selection was good and warm. The decor and room clean and neat. The staff friendly and helpful. Its not going to blow you away but a good experience nonetheless.

I had my wedding there a year ago and everything was perfect...My family still talks about it today. The wait staff was excellent and very nice to all my guests. The food was great..I have no complaints!!

Specialized in traditional Portuguese Food, like Chicken Barbecue, Code Fish, Portuguese Pork Ribs.The place has a skylight. The food and the service is good. Nice People and very good Portuguese Wine.

Portuguese food is already great. Price is good for lunch time. Lunch special $13.95 include soup, soft drink and espresso coffee. Great deal. Just a bit slow is lunch time.

Christening lunch. It took 3 hours to serve the food. This was bad enough, but the food was ice cold and inedible. Stay away!
