This venue is stunning; the driveway invites you in, the lobby has a beautiful chandelier and a grand piano, and the grand ballroom’s lighting can be customized to your wedding color(s). The guests raved about the quality and quantity of food at the cocktail hour, dinner, and the venetian hour; they were impressed with the aesthetics of the venue and the exceptional service they received. While the guests enjoyed cocktail hour, my husband and I took photos with the bridal party in the garden. I really appreciated how The Tides set up a private cocktail hour in the bridal suite so that we could spend some quality time with the bridal party before making our grand entrance down the ornate spiral staircase in the Grand Ballroom. The number of inclusions make this venue an incredible value: champagne greeting, customized printed menus, white glove service, valet parking, premium open bar, and hand carved ice sculpture to name a few. The banquet manager, Tom Austin, worked with us to plan the details of our wedding reception; he did an amazing job of bringing our vision to life. We had our wedding at the Tides two weeks ago. I knew from the moment we pulled into the driveway that I wanted my wedding to be there. We had a beautiful outdoor ceremony and a fabulous reception in the downstairs room. We had 100 guests and found the downstairs rooms to be perfect. The Tides is a beautiful place both inside and outdoors. The decor is stunning and elegant. The food is delicious. The Viennese hour is impressive. We shopped around at a lot of similar catering halls, all of which charged significantly more. The funny thing is that none of them compared in decor! They looked old and outdated compared to the Tides! We worked with Tom to do the logistics leading up to our day. He was excellent. He answered all of my emails and questions. He was more than accommodating and a pleasure to work with. Steve, omg! Where do I start! Steve was fabulous! On our wedding day Steve was always 5 steps ahead of us. He was an absolute doll! We were nervous and stressed that day but Steve was a calming force and breath of fresh air! The flow of our day was flawless thanks to him. The best wedding-related decision we made was having our wedding at the Tides. I highly recommend it to any couple in search of a venue for their wedding day.

We had our wedding on May 21, 2016 and were blown away by the overall experience. We had 180 guest in the main ballroom that was recently renovated (every detail in the new main ballroom was exquisite). The venue itself was exactly what we were looking for in terms of food, atmosphere, scenery and overall experience. We had use of the two bridal rooms upstairs and downstairs. Our Maitre d Steven was amazing!!!!!!!!!! The Maitre d made our experience delightful and stress free. He was so attentive and on top of everything. The rest of the staff were nothing but helpful in the run up and during the course of our weekend and we couldnt praise them enough. All the guests are still talking about the beautiful venue and the delicious food! I would recommend this venue to any bride!!!!!

My husband and I recently had our wedding at the tides and it was everything we ever wanted and more! We went in there looking to book at date a year later and they had an opening 3 months away, and we took it! We received soooooo many compliments about the food, and fortunately we were able to have our ceremony outside on such a beautiful day. Tom Austin helped us throughout everything, was extremely professional, helpful throughout the entire process, and was just a laid back cool guy. I have to say everything was close pretty perfect....the only negative which wasnt a big deal to us would be the look of the cake wasnt exactly what we pictured...but thats nothing in the grand scheme of things. We are so happy we chose to have our special day there!

Words cannot express the gratitude that we have for Tom Austin and the staff at The Tides Estate. I was married on April 12, 2015 and my big day was truly a dream come true wedding. From the beginning, we felt as important and comfortable as if we were part of their own families. On the day of our wedding, they were so attentive to us our families and our guests in every way possible, making it a seamless, exciting, worry-free experience and as the bride I felt pampered in every way. The new ballroom is exquisite, the food superb & the building is personal yet elegant with gorgeous gardens. Im so glad that my husband and I chose to celebrate our special day with The Tides. I was just there for a wedding August 29, 2014. Overall appearance was very nice but the service was HORRIBLE!! You NEVER take away the patrons food if they walk away from their table to dance or to go to the bathroom or waiting at the bar for 5 mins or longer for their DRINK! Who does that?? My husband did not get his salad and I told the KID to leave it and he said he had to take it away for the NEXT course. That is total BS! Dear Owners of THE TIDES ESTATE: You will never get a recommendation from me if your staff continues to take away meals because they do not want to stay after hours to clean up the tables. TOO effing bad for them! Very bad for your reputation! You need to be aware of this and if you are then SHAME ON YOU! Change your rules!

I had my weeding reception on Sep, 2009 at the Tides Estate and our experience could not have been better. Scott took care of us with such high regard from the First time we came thru that door until the day of our reception. The food was awesome in every way, they went on and beyond. The whole staff was very courteous and friendly through out the night to us and all of our guests. Even though we had chosen this place mainly because of the service and landscaping, unfortunately on our wedding day it rained the whole day and we weren’t able to enjoy the outside but everything else went on perfectly thru out the night.

Absolutely love this place. I got married 3 years ago...I know a bit late...but still til today people talk about our wedding. We had a summer wedding (July), the Sales Rep we worked with, Ron, was amazing, easy going, always made us comfortable and explained everything THANKS RON!!! We had an outdoor ceremony and a fabulous reception. Tons of food, a beautiful ice sculpture, desert galore, and dinner was delicious (although I barely could fit anything else), they made my cake and it was beautiful and delicious as well. The room we had was the downstairs room, absolutely beautiful!!! Hope this review helps.

for the price they offer it really isnt that great. i was there yesterday for a friends wedding, and they had a simple request of decorating a part of the reception hall walls with flowers, but the maitre d just wouldnt let them. whats so hard about letting them decorate the walls? a simple request that should have been honored. the maitre d was actually getting pretty nasty to the florist at one point. the florist was actually the mother of one of the best men, and some people got pretty upset. dont get me wrong, the place is pretty gorgeous, but not for the price.
