Last year I visited all, and I mean all of the storage facilities within the Newark Area. Ferry St, Raymond Blvd, Norfolk St, and of course the three just off of McCarter Hwy aka Route 21. The lighting, elevators and climate control are superior at this location. I have a need for multiple in and outs all year long. My family uses this unit as a giant closet for larger seasonal items, decorations, etc...as well as for clothes, shoes, and items that require more frequent trips and exchanges. I wanted a friendly and SAFE location for my wife and daughter to be able to move items in and out without always being present...THIS location is the only one that fits that need. It is not always about moving stuff, it is sometimes just about finding stuff...with all of the lighting and climate control, items do not have to be pulled out of the storage unit to another area to search for items...items can stay right in the unit as we look through and search for what is needed. Like I said, we use the unit like a big closet. When we are done, we simple close the door, put on the lock and head to the elevator. On top of all of what I described, the staff is extremely helpful and courteous. Whether you need is a dolly, hand truck or a box for your stuff, the staff is there to help with your needs. Of course you still have to move all of your OWN STUFF...however, you need anything else, the staff is there for you. I do often buy my storage boxes from Home Depot, but it is nice to know if you happen to need to just drop something off, or possibly take something out of the car and need to get it in the unit, you can always get a box and some tape onsite to provide you ease of access to get the STUFF out the house and into the unit...and that is the whole point.

WOW let me first say that the professionalism of this company is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!! There are a lot of companies that sadly dont care enough about their customers nor have the drive to conduct a business. I am happy to say that this is NOT that type of company. If you want to feel welcomed, have professional people who care, have complete understanding that you and your belongings are safe, and have the best overall experience.... there is no where in this world I would choose then "THE KING" Rosa is just a pleasure to work She understands the company she works for but more importantly she understands her customers. She makes you feel like Storage King is your home away from home!!!!!! Needless to say my experience with this company has been just SMURFABULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and a huge Thank you goes to Rosa!! Rosa, You are amazing, lady!! Thank you Thank you Thank you for everything you help me with!!!! I plan on using the warehouse for the next 6 months or so and than I hope for us to continue to use them every summer!!!!! I highly recommended EVERYONE to come to THE KING for all their storage needs!!! You will not be disappointed!! <3

Used the Storage King because it was convenient in terms of vicinity to my college dorms and because it has useful truck service free of charge. The truck with a driver would come right up to the dorm, even though theyre not allowed to help you with bringing down boxes etc... but that was never a problem. Every time I called, anyone who answered was very nice over the phone, and even when there was a little misunderstanding, they made sure to take care of it right away and apologized. Very affordable because I only needed a small size storage and I could take advantage of the student discount. Ive been using Storage King for 3 summers and it is definitely a good relief to leave my stuff there and not have to worry about it at all. And after a couple of times using it, there is also a nice atmosphere with the employees and drivers. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Customer service at Storage King USA was at its top performance!! I rate it 5 stars!! My biggest Recommendation is the gentlemen who helped me named Louis!! he was exceptional! I was very hesitant to having to store my items for the summer but Louis made the whole visit extremely comfortable. He was very prompt and efficient with handling all of my question. Best of all he was very warming and friendly, now a days you dont see that very often in employees. The facility was exceptionally cleaned and organized my visit there was quick which Im very pleased with. Louis assisted in finding me a great unit at a wonderful price with no hassles. If there should be an example of high quality customer service then Louis is definitely IT! Storage King Thank you for your caring employees and exceptional service. I will be recommending you to my friends.

My experience with this facility was beyond amazing!! My paperwork and check-in for my rental unit was handled by Ike and he was so courteous and pleasant. He explained fully how the pricing structure works and made sure it was clear to me what my payments would be going forward. Ive rented storage units at other facilities and Ive always had surprises down the line with billing. This was very clear and so professional. Then when it was time to move into my unit. I was moving everything by myself and Jeanince was so wonderful! She helped me load things in which made the process go faster and smoother. She even showed me the best way to pack my things into the unit to maximize the available space. I was beyond impressed with this facility and the staff. I HIGHLY recommend this facility to anyone looking for storage. - Amanda

I rented from the facility in Passaic. Great facility, great front desk person. Knowledgeable, friendly, articulate, explained all the rules. Great experience. Fair price. Easy to find in Passaic at the corner of Main Ave and Chestnut. One of the best experiences I have had at a storage facility. Fair price, great hours, clean, easy to understand. I definitely recommend them. I rented a locker. The only drawback is that I had to use stairs. They seem stable. You have to by insurance if you dont already have it and buy lock to be used at their facility. You keep the keys. I give them a nine out of ten.

Today Augsut 4th 2014 my boyfriend and I were overseeing a move of friends of ours. Doel couldnt not have been more helpful;. In fact he was the only bright part of the entire move. He anticipated questions, gave suggestions we had not thought of, was very cheerful ( in spite of having a head cold), clear and specific with the financial arrangements, and went above and beyond with some of our questions and needs. I recently used this storage facility when i was out of the country for a few years for business. I was pleased that this facility had multiple sizes and discounts to choose from as well as climate control to keep my stuff just as i left it no matter the temperature outside. The convenience of online bill pay allowed me to easily pay my bills from halfway across the world! I recommend this facility for anybody that enjoys peace of mind.Thank you Storage King Ill be back soon!
