I visited BC tire today (5/19) & wanted to get a oil change done. Im a first time customer and I brought a coupon with me (thats how I know that this business exists.) The African American short lady in her 20s that was working on the front desk has such a big chip on her shoulder. The whole time I was talking to her, I smiled and she never show any basic service attitude or a single smile. She told me that theyre busy and they can work on my car at 5PM (I was there around 9AM). So I told her I will come by around 4PM to drop off my car. She rolled her eyes at me like Im crazy or stupid, said I cant guarantee your spot in the queue if you dont leave your car with us right now. I told her I have to go back to work, its reasonable to set an appointment at 5PM and come in an hour earlier and drop off my car. I told her I cant leave my car right now and I will have to come back another day. She proceeded to give me a very cold stare and walked away, make me feel like I just come in and wasted her time. Needless to say, I did not do my service there and will probably never will again. Even though BC tire succeeded in bring me into their store, they did not create a new customer, instead they left such a bad taste in my stomach that I dont ever want to set foot there again. I dont know what that young ladys problem is, she should go back to training and got some basic decent courtesy and basic good attitude for a service industry. I have never see anything like that before, that the customer that pays you and gives you business, you made them feel like they are idiots. Good thing is Valvoline instant oil is just a few blocks from there, I quickly drove over there and got my oil change in 15 minutes. The staffs there were friendly and made me want to go back.

I have always been cautious about bringing my car in for repairs - after my experience with BC Tire - I am now completely confident and happy of being a returning customer. My 2007 Toyota Corolla has been in an awful need of tires - on my way to work, I stopped by BC Tires - and Im very glad I did. They were able to take me in right away, the front desk rep, Jennifer, was very patient with all my questions and knowledgeable; she took the time to explain the difference in tires - what was best for me and my car - the options I can get with different tires. It immediately put me to relief. With Jennifers help - I was able to select the proper tires needed for my car; which were then immediately placed on and I was ready to go. Upon payment - the best part was walking out into the humid and hot summer day with my car waiting for me right at the door with the AC on all ready to go - that sort of a personal and caring touch definately committed me to become returning customer. Ever since then, ive been a regular for my oil changes & other repairs. I have been recommending BC Tire to everyone! Great prices, excellent service and the fact that all employees truly care whats best for the customer makes this a unique and great place!

Overall a nice experience but a few things did bring down the 5 star rating to a 4. a) I was told that they had the "exact same tire" as replacement for my Pirellis. The "exact same tire" turned out to be another brand! However, I did save a few bucks so lets see how it goes. b) I had the brakes done as well. However, the wheels had grease stains all over. I do really wish they had at least wiped it clean. I normally use the service center of the manufacturer of my car, and when they deliver the car, it is washed and cleaned. c) As I was pulling out, a big BC Tire company truck was trying to get in. I honestly did not see the truck as it was on right side end, just around the curve. The driver was showing signs of exasperation and shaking his head and rudely pointing to where I should be going. Thats not how you treat a customer. This really soured the otherwise great experience. The person at the front desk, Marie, was both polite and knowledgeable.

I brought in my wifes car because it was stalling and the check-engine light was on. They told my the diagnostics to read the check engine light and look the car over was $70, but it would be applied to the repairs. After diagnostics they werent sure what the problem was, but suggested a tune-up (i.e. a change in air filter, pcv valve, and spark plugs --- even though the plugs were just changed recently, "but they were not OEM plugs") and a fuel system service. I got the fuel service done for $200. However, they said that the diagnostics fee of $70 would not apply since it was a "service" and not a repair. But, if I got a tune-up for an additional $300 it would be counted as a repair. In summary, their argument was that since they didnt know exactly what the problem was with the car, nothing was technically a repair, unless (of course) it costs a lot. UPDATE: To their credit, after complaining to the management they have agreed to refund my money.

I went there 3 months back and had a satisfactory experience. But this time, I met a different person at the front desk. I dont have technical knowledge about car parts. When I asked questions to the front desk lady, she got agitated. Also, in my email I received promotions saying Ill get discount if I buy 4 tires, but she didnt pay attention to what I was saying. Then she said something very confusing that we have some offer on tires starting August 2017, so I asked should I wait 2-3 days to buy new tires to get the discounts, but then she did the math and calculated an even higher price than what she offered today. I called another tireshop and got same tires for $100 cheaper. Also, I got brakes done for nearly $100 cheaper compared to BC tires quote. It is unlikely I would go back because of front desks lack of courtesy and higher prices. I gave 3 stars as I was happy with my previous visit.

I went to these guys getting another tire after getting a flat and the experience was seamless. I change my own tire and have performance tires on my car. They didnt have the same Dunlop tire in stock but instead had Hankook tires (ads for those everywhere when you walk in). They were pretty quick to serve me even though they had two previous customers and tire replacement took half an hour (they were busy). They made sure not to charge me for labor because I brought the tire in not my car. And the price of the tire was a little more than I expected, but then again its a mark up from them - if I wanted cheaper I would buy from the manufacturer...then again Id be waiting for my tire. They also have a TV, seats, and a water cooler in the waiting room. It was pretty comfortable. These guys do more than just tires too, but I havent serviced my car with them yet.
