We contacted Benjamin Franklin to fix a shower drain leak which was easily accessible from my neighbor underneath. Technician came out August 4 and fix the leak for $269. The next day while using the shower and neighbor underneath reported it was leaking again. Same technician came out a few days later under warranty but needed to order a part. He came back for the third visit and "fixed it again". While using the shower the next day my neighbor reported the same leak. Ben Franklin sent out a new technician for the fourth visit. Keep in mind also bothering my neighbor for the 4th time. He proceeded to say the leak was in fact coming from the shower drain but unrelated to the first repair so it would cost another $680 to fix. That was unacceptable so we sent him home and called a local plumber. The local plumber replace the entire shower drain assembly 120 and parts 200 in labor. Hasnt leaked since.

I thought the prices were outrageous! I needed a Moen faucet to stop dripping and PJ looked at it and said that is easy to fix, it just needs a new cartridge for $239. Hell, I can buy two new faucets for that price. Next, I needed a new double faucet installed on the other side of my home to make watering the flowers easier for me since I have MS and I use a wheelchair to get around my yard. He showed me his book and it was $278 per faucet. Then he said, even if I do nothing today, you still have to pay $49 for my time. I chose to get one faucet installed and which took less than an hour of his time paid my bill and he was on his way. What a rip off. Have you ever heard of free estimates? I am sure there are better options available.

Be very very careful, called for explaining why and they dont want to talk about it. $800 for parts that are being supplied by my warranty company for fee. Or $2100 for a new boiler which includes them taking the tank which is 2 years old and still under warranty. He told price for everything has doubled in last 6 moths check that online. Not true. Then the guy used scare tactics to convinceme to get a new tank. These people get away with price gouging like this unbelievable. Call someone else please.

The plumber arrived on time and ready to work. We discussed what I thought the problem was and he explained he would inspect it and go over the costs before he did the work. After his inspection he told me what it would cost to repair but also explained that the leak may have damaged the floor which was a whole other problem. Luckily the floor/subfloor was OK. Price was fair and the work was done in less than an hour. He was very professional.

WASTED $50 for them just check out the problem, that person only walked for 15 min AND WONT EVEN GET HIS SHOES DIRTY TO CHECK UNDERNEATH MY MOBILE HOME and told me that I had to ripe out the whole sink and will cost me minimum $800. They are the ripe off!!!!! because I had other company who came in fixed the problem same day for only hour and a half, and only cost me $200! DO NOT HIRE THEM, THEY WILL ONLY RIPE YOU OFF!!!!!

kevin, the technician, arrived right on time. Jessica called to alert me thirty minutes beforehand. The job was done well and efficiently. The truck was amply supplied with everything needed e.g. faucet, pipes etc. Cost was set according to task and downloaded onto laptop; this was shared with me for approval. Well done.
