My experience goes back ten years with this company and ten years ago i would have given them four stars. I purchased a sump pump from them and had it installed. The pump died a month later and they replaced the pump for free, but i paid for the labor. No problems with that. In the interim i decided to rent the house and have tenants. Then my furnace started having problems and i called them to fix it. Expensive but they got the work done. Sometimes they would call me to let me know what they they did, sometimes I had to rely on my tenant to tell what they did. Eventually the furnace quit and i ordered a new one from them. They didnt have the furnace they needed but ordered. Meanwhile the house is heated with wood stove. They were supposed to call and install as soon as it arrived but of course they forgot because it wasnt important to them. I called back after two weeks to find the furnace and parts had been sitting there for a week. Not impressed. The install contract price included removal of the old furnace. They DID NOT remove the old furnace but i still paid for it. The sump they installed for me in 2007 finally died in 2015 and they put in a new one. Yesterday the sump they installed died after a year and a half and the furnace stopped working and reset button was unresponsive. Called to get a service out there to investigate. Four hours go by. I call to find out there is no one there. Fine, the house is heated with electric and kerosene heaters overnight. Call again in the morning and "oh, there must have been a mix up" Now it will be an emergency call at $225 for the first hour $85/hour after that. Even to go out during their "normal business hours" M-F it is going to cost $180 for the first hour unless i wait over a week to pay the non-extortion rate. Sorry guys i have had enough of your lazy attitude and price gouging. You dont care about your customers and only care about the $$$. Would not recommend.

Our existing boiler was red tagged by the competition, and I called Upstate for an estimate. Juan came Tuesday morning, we agreed that afternoon due to his estimate being significantly lower than anyone else. Wednesday morning at 8:30 I had 2 guys here who tore out the old boiler, replaced everything for the entire heat and domestic hot water system, and by 8PM Thursday night we had a top of the line new boiler, all new lines, they erected a wall to hang everything on, got us warm and happy, and then went home. Their technician Fred told me that he wasnt leaving until we had heat and hot water in all 4 zones, and he kept his word. Old boiler was removed for free, and all cleanup was done by noon on Friday. I cannot say enough good things about this company, or the dedicated, honest, professional workers they employ. Had a small problem with domestic hot water issues, called Juan, he sent Fred up here for free, Fred diagnosed the problem, fixed it, and I have an unlimited supply of domestic hot water now, and forever. What a pleasure these people are to deal with. Unfortunately I may need to change this review. I will post more tomorrow. Found out I had a bad unit from the factory, Juan sent Fred up the next day and he installed a brand new unit free of charge and I have not had a problem since.

Every Spring I have my furnace and air conditioning serviced. When I received the the bill in the mail, I was floored. The way it was explained to me, there is a flat rate for furnace cleaning and a flat rate for air conditioner cleaning. In other words, if the technician spends 5 minutes on your air conditioner, you pay $149.00. The same applies to the furnace. These guys are getting paid better than the attorneys I work for. I received a bill for $279.67!!!!! There was a grand total of $10.00 in parts (filter & nozzle). I thought I would check with other businesses to see how these prices compare with others. The furnace cleaning was pretty much the same. However, there was a $100.00 difference in the air conditioning servicing!!! Needless to say, that was all i needed to hear. I have been screwed for the last time. My suggestion is, check other vendors in your area. No-one should have to pay that kind of money when the furnace and air conditioning is serviced annually. Would not recommend.

Horrible service, horrible price, would not recommend to anyone! Quoted 4-500 for 4-6 hours to replace all plumbing with PEX in a double wide (a total of less than 40 worth of pex) with all parts provided by me. Total time spent on site by them 3.25 hours, total charge $625 and they never even put in a shut off valve at the cold water tank.
