Seriously I couldnt believe how the guy ripped me off. I went there to get a quote for replacing keyboard for my Sony laptop. The guy couldnt give me a quote saying his manager needs to find out where to buy the keyboard from. But he told me it might costs $300. I asked him to if he can disconnect the built in keyboard for me because one of the key repeatedly typing itself. I will use portable keyboard. He said yes. I thought it is a few minutes job and I will give him whatever. it took him 10/15 minutes as I assumed. He asked me for $100 with smiling face. I thought he is joking. But he is not. I told him its an unfair price. He said you could not do it by yourself. I still didnt believe him. But he really charged $100 on my credit card. I may talk to the manager or the corporate. I just could take the unfair pricing. It was my fault I didnt negotiate first.

I was in the area from out of town. laptop repair needed. He told me I needed a new video card. Told me he will buy directly from HP. Gave him laptop to service. I checked online and he charged me two times the cost of one video card. I asked him for receipt of buying from HP. Didnt have it. He may have bought it on ebay. Gave me a discount. I opened the laptop today. The thermal grease he put on was three times the normal amount. He also used the cheapest grease. THERE WAS ALSO A LARGE PIECE OF TISSUE SANDWICHED BETWEEN THE VIDEO CARD AND THE MOTHERBOARD. IT was right at the gpu core! After I put the correct amount of thermal interface material myself and removed the large tissue booger, my temperatures went down almost twenty degrees. The tissue booger is unacceptable*******

I have been here several times. They fix any device and are especially good at fixing cracked iPhone and iPad screens. Ivan is very professional and replies to any questions almost immediately via e-mail. I have cracked my front screen of my iPhone 4s and they replaced it no problem. They let you watch the process so there is no worries of having them take personal data from your device. The other team members that work there are also very friendly. Tea, coffee, and water is available while you wait along with the comfiest leather couch Ive ever sat on! Ive recommended this place to ALL my friends. Its the only place in NJ that I know of! So when my sophomore in HS brilliantly spilled her Latte all over the keyboard of her MacBook Pro taking out the motherboard I figured thats $1,500 down the tubes. I took it first to another large outfit chain on Rte 20 in Paterson who told me if it is the motherboard, it would run about $600 but they needed to check it to be sure ($40 fee) so I figured OK. Then a tech calls me about a week later, says its the motherboard and it will cost $1,100. They are Jerks and misleading! I found these guys on a Google search and they are THE BEST! MacBook is now repaired and running just like new for $374.50 after sales tax! They even gave me a $5 Starbucks coupon (for a Latte). Ill be seeing them again soon.

I went to get my phone fixed because i had dropped it and needed a new screen. I got it fixed and the screen the guy put on wasnt secure so i went to Apple to see if they would fix my phone and secure it. They couldnt do it so i had no choice but to get re-fixed and he fixed it for me and the screen wasnt on right. A month or two passed and i woke up this morning and my phone was completely black. I would not recommend this place because of the inconveniences that i had to face. I would recommend going to Apple if you ever get your phone cracked.

Broken screen - brought my iPhone in for convenience - no appointment necessary - picked it up an hour later and screen wasnt in right. Brought it back a few days later and they said the frame was bent - the glass moved and eventually just broke again and not after being dropped due to poor repair. Took the phone to Apple - frame was not bent and glass is now fine. Save yourself the headache and go with the true professionals. Keep in mind frame wasnt bent - it was poor placement. $120 flushed down the toilet - dont make the mistake I made!

I took a damaged flash drive into Ivan in NJ and he subsequently shipped it to the NY office for repair so the expert there could handle it. They were able to recover all the data and it was ready for collection within the 4 day turnaround they committed to. Ivan was particularly helpful in locating what appeared to be missing files when I went to collect the recovered data. My only constructive feedback is that it would be helpful to receive a call back within 24 hours re status of items.

When my laptop started running really slow I cleaned out my cache as usual but the problem did not cease. I ran a scan which detected a few issues and quarantined them but still had the same issue. I called NJ Laptop Repair and they told me to bring my laptop to them. It turned out it was only some programs that got on there and were running in the background that were causing the problem. They uninstalled them and all was well and my machine was running like the day I got it.

Got a price quote of $99 to repair my iPhone 4S power button. Called back to check since everywhere else I called said $42 - $49 for the same issues, and they quoted me (different person) $79. When I mentioned that I called 3 other places, including iTech in Ringwood only 20 min from them (they said $45 same day fix), they said thats fine go there, they had no interest in matching the price. Way overpriced from what I have found. Check out iTech for better options!

What a great experience. I broke my first ever smartphone screen and stopped in just to see how the place was. They were professional and offered a fair price. Within half hour I had my phone back and it was working perfectly. The screen is just as good as the stock screen, which is important because some shops use cheaper parts that dont work as well as OEM. I am completely satisfied with this store and will be going back in the future for sure.

I absolutely love this place. Both the customer service and quality of repair are incredible. My phone was completely cracked and Ivan replaced the screen in under 5 and gave me a 10 dollar discount. About a week later my phone bent, I brought it back and he repaired it again free of charge. Both times it looked brand new and he was extremely polite and professional. Thank you Laptop MD!

My laptop keyboard was malfunctioning and initially my only recourse was to have the Geek Squad or Officedepot send it out for service which would have tied the device up for about 5-6 weeks. Instead I found LaptopMD, dropped it off and picked it up five days later in perfect condition. Oh, did I mention they charged a fraction of what it would have cost to use Geek Squad or Officedepot.
