I was traveling for work and had to go to Meineke because I was not familiar with the area and all dealers were closed. Like some other reviewers here I see, they also told me they would be able to identify and fix the issue. They kept my car all day, and replaced parts that were not causing the problem. I pulled off the lot and my car was still undriveable. When I went back the owner had no response besides telling me that they had to start somewhere... so I was charged for 350$ in parts and 650$ in labor for nothing to be fixed. The next day I had to have it towed to a Jeep dealer where they properly identified the issue before replacing parts. The issue was fixed and I was charged a 1/3 of the cost. On top of that I even reached out to Meineke corporate after the fact to help me maybe get some of the money back, I simply asked for some of the labor cost back. I was more then willing to just pay for the over priced parts that I did not need. Meineke corporate nor the shop were willing to help me at all! I would never recommend any Meineke, and especially not this one. The above review was put on Yelp and I also sent a review to Meineke Corporate. The Meineke I went to was in Ramsey NJ Shop #112. Since nothing can apparently be done I would just like to make everyone aware of the service they will receive here.

RIP OFF - STAY AWAY. Stopped by there because the flex pipe in my mini vans exhaust was leaking and needed to be replaced. The owner said let me put it on the lift and take a look at it. Says "yeah its the flex pipe, $350 to replace and Ill have you out of here in half an hour". I (in shock) decline and he says Ill give you an Instant $100 coupon. Wow, that makes it a sweet deal (sarcasm). I decline again and he gets visibly agitated and hurriedly takes my van off the lift. Im SO sorry he got upset because I wouldnt let him rip me off. How does this guy think anybody should pay over $600 an hour for labor?? I took it elsewhere and had it repaired for a reasonable price.

After trying several repair shops in the area, I finally found one that I trust and does a great job, the first time!!!! Gary, the owner always goes above and beyond, with a smile.The show room is spacious, very clean with comfortable seating and a TV, very woman friendly, unlike most shops that are dirty and less then friendly. Even my mom goes there inow instead of the dealer, that double charges for the same job.....

A little bit of customer service goes a long way. I went in trying to redeem a T-Mobile promotion for a free oil change. Rather than explain that they are not participating in the promotion, they laughed in my face and literally walked out of the room on me. Its fine if you dont participate, but to treat a potential customer with disrespect is a bad look.

Gary at Ramsey Meineke Car Care Center is an experienced professional master mechanic. He knows what you need and does what is needed - without up selling you. I highly recommend this place for brakes, mufflers, general maintenanceA/C service, engine lights, etc. I found Gary 8 years ago and he is now my go to auto care guru.

I agree with the last reviewer - this place is a complete rip off - stay away!!! I had my brakes worked on and they tried to empty my wallet with a whole series of charges that were not included in the original quote.

Great service. Ive had brakes and exhaust work done here, both done quickly and for a reasonable price. No waiting around all day to get a status update. No surprise extra charges on top of the estimate.

I just paid to GARY president 226 dollars, por changed one bulb ( TAILLIGHT Driver side) DIAGNOSTIC AND LABOR 200 dollars, I feel rip me off, we cant be trusted. you are the "best" GARY.
