Contracted through Lowes to originally inspect a dishwasher installed by another company in December. First appointment was cancelled by Dependable half hour after the appointment window started. Loss of pay for me. A week later new appointment made and gentlemen came out to inspect. Seemed knowledgable. Lowes needed to replace our dishwasher and booked installation with Dependable. Made a Saturday appointment but still needed to take off of work and lose a day of pay. Time of appointment was between 8-12. When I called to verify todays appointment, I was told we were second stop after a blocked toilet near their office. At 11:50, I finally received a call from the installer and the Lowes store saying he was there to pickup the new machine and that I needed to buy a new installation kit. Im not sure where the miscommunication was (whether store level or installer) but this was incorrect. At 12:00, was informed that he was on his way to my house. I live 20 minutes West of the Lowes store. Lowes is right off Route 80 exit 26. Two exits away on 19 and 3 turns off the exit. At 1:00, installer called again and said he was at my house but where should he park because the driveway was full. Informed him that wasnt possible because I was standing in my empty driveway. After 10 minutes on the phone with this guy arguing over whether or not he was at my house (nope!) and what my address is, he finally got it into his GPS and claimed it said an hour and four minutes away from his current location and hung up on me. Girl called me a few minutes later from Dependable office and claimed that the driver had made a wrong turn and was in Pompton Plains and that he would be there in 40 minutes. There is no possible way to make a wrong turn in Flanders, Morris County on your way to Hackettstown, Warren County and end up in Pompton Plains, Passaic County. At this point, with supposed arrival two hours AFTER the scheduled time and complete idiocracy, the Lowes store and Lowes corporate said to have the guy return the dishwasher to the store and they will have a different vendor do the install. Dependable has cost me two days of wasted pay and I still do not have a dishwasher! I would never recommend this company for any service.

If I could give them zero stars, I would. Had to use them as part of the install service through Lowes, which Lowes should reevaluate their partnership. Scheduling the two appointments that were required was so difficult. For my actual delivery and install, the technician was almost two hours late, even through with a 3 hour appointment window. I started calling around 30 minutes late and proceeded to be given a runaround about how it was Lowes fault, they were taking too long to get the product out on the truck, etc. When I questioned this, the woman put on the utmost fake and condescending attitude, telling me he would be there soon. I called Lowes, who told me the tech had already come and gone . I waited another 40 minutes, called the plumbing company back and was told that he would be here in another 15. I live 10 minutes from the Lowes.so Im not sure what he had been doing in the time that Lowes told me he has picked it up. Did he take another call even though he was late to me? I questioned why he was so late and again got the condescending attitude that he "had to drive over." I again got Lowes involved. I cant honestly evaluate the actual install because being on time was more important to me. I will never use these guys again, will never recommend, and probably wont buy an appliance at Lowes again if Im required to use this company.

I had a similar bad experience to the person above. Everything was fine in calling them up, setting up the appointment. they charged me $200 for 20 min work and 40 mins arguing over the fact that he realized that there was a leak in the faucet, the entire faucet needs to be replaced, and that they dont deal with those faucets, so i would be responsible to get a new faucet and call them up to install it. I ended up finding the supplier for this faucet and it turns out only a small pipe needs to be replaced, not the entire faucet. Once i called them back to install it, they wanted to charge me another $200 for what is likely no more than 5 minutes to install it back in. What a rip-off...I said forget it and found someone else...

This company is absolutely fabulous!! Not only were they courteous and kind they took the time in going above and beyond by educating me and showing me a step by step of my plumbing problem. Overall the visit was just a worry free and error free visit. Theyre seriously far more reasonable with their pricing than any plumbing company. This is the 2nd time that Dependable have serviced my home and I have to say I will never deal with another other plumbing company except Dependable Plumbing. I had Steve come to my house in a dire plumbing emergency. I opened the cabinet below my kitchen sink and found a pool of water. I was so worried that my brand new floor was going to be ruined. I called Dependable Plumbing immediately, as my good friend had recommended them because she also had a great experience. They came to my house very promptly, within the hour, and were able to fix the broken pipe. They charged me a very reasonable price and I was so appreciative. I was really in a bind and I could have easily been taken advantage of. I will be a forever customer!

Read the reviews, these guys are possibly the worst out there. They are so bad I will not even waste my time writing the details. Do your self a favor, shut your water down, suck it up and call someone else. I guess these guys are in business by charging $95 to come look.

This company cancelled on me twice for a dishwasher install stating that there were emergencies both times. They made me take two days off of work and did not care one bit. Dont waste your time calling them
