To fix a small leaking value which should have costed me only $124, I ended up spending $724. - Had to spend $724 - They opened my bathroom walls - Gave me a quote of $900 for fixing the leak - They gave an additional quote of $4800 for replacing the entire plumbing which was not needed. I trusted DMC as a professional company and called them for inspecting a water leak in my basement. This is a 35+ year old company and it was sad to see that the technician was not an expert. For every decision, he had to call his superiors for solutions who suggested solutions without even looking at the problem. 35+ year company technician didn’t even have the basic tools like flashlight, proper wall cutting tool or Borescope camera. The technician after inspecting the leak told me that the leak was due to a broken pike in the 1st floor bathroom and need to cut open the wall, after opening the wall he said to fix the leak I need to first fix the main water support and charged me $600 for doing it. Later on, he said the leak was from the 2nd floor bathroom and need to break open the 2nd floor bath room. After opening the 2nd floor bathroom he said the leak in between the beams running between 1st and 2nd floor bathroom and told that the entire floor need to be opened(gave me a quote of $900) to fix it. Later he suggested me to change the entire plumbing system instead of fixing only the leak, suggested me to change the entire plumbing for both the bathrooms. He quoted me $4800 for doing the complete change. I felt something was suspicious and decided to give a look on my own, noticed that the leak was a small leak with the flush valve outside the wall(fix costed me only $124). I would not recommend them to anyone, they speak very sweetly making you feel they are right. This will be my last encounter with DMC Plumbing and will never suggest them for anyone.

I used DMC to install a new 50 Gal water tank based on the good review written here and conversation i had with the technician that gave me the quote. They seem professional and honest, dont fall into the trap! 2 months after the installation i started having problems with hot water. I own a multifamily and the technician never mentioned anything about gallon i should get for the new tank. He told me if the current 50 gal tank is enough for all families that i should stick with 50 gal tank. I was talking to other people who owns multifamily they all said i need at least 75 gallon for 3 family dwellings. So long story short, couple months after the installation tenants complaint about insufficient hot water in the apartment. So I called DMC for someone to come over and check. The technician told me nothing is wrong with the tank so he moved up the temperature hoping the problem will go away but it didnt. I was charged a service fee. Two weeks later i called them again and reported the same problem. I told them that this time i was not going to pay a dime as they never fixed the issue. So they sent someone who i think is less experienced because he told me the same thing that the first person came. He upped the temperature to C this time and left after being there for 5 mins and of course the problem didnt go away. I called them again and this time they never responded. So in conclusion dont use this company as theyre unprofessional and inexperienced. They tried to get away with mistakes they caused.

I called DMC when I was having an issue with my gas meters after receiving a bill for $975. My initial call was met by friendly and helpful staff. I was offered a same day appointment, but due to my schedule I opted for next day (this happened to be Saturday as well) On Saturday morning the technician came out, first thing (as promised) around 8am. He spoke with myself and my husband and immediately tried to resolve the issue. He spent about an hour with us, and explained exactly what was going on and what our options were. He was extremely knowledgeable & professional. Its so refreshing too see companies with such excellent staff and people who actually know what they are doing. I would highly recommend DMC Plumbing and Heating to anyone with any kind of plumbing issues! Thank you DMC!

I recently had a leak in my bathroom caused by the unit upstairs. I called Tom from DMC and he was professional and thorough. He had a team out to check on the leak within an hour of my phone call. They worked diligently to identify the issue. Due to the damage, I also needed a new ceiling and insulation, and DMC coordinated the entire job for me. Obtaining their COI took about 20 minutes, which we all know is not always the easiest thing. They managed this repair for me perfectly and I feel fortunate to have found a trustworthy, professional and insured plumbing company. They made this entire job easy for me and my bathroom looks fantastic. I highly recommend DMC.

I was happy with the services provided by DMC. Dan not only offered one solution to the problem but two, and that is great especially when money is tight. I had a leaky tub faucet and all is well. They were quick to respond and professional. I will definitely call them for other jobs. Thank you Dan and Shawn! I am true to my word - and have called DMC since I had the last problem because they are efficient,reliable and knowledgeable. Today I had work done in a drain that was completely blocked....they broke up the cement, got to the pipe and trap - replaced parts - cleaned up - and fixed the problem. All done in good time. Woke up this morning with the house about 7 degrees colder than usual. Called DMC and they promptly sent Dan who immediately identified the problem with my furnace. Dan arranged to have JohnM follow up and handle the actual repairs. JohnM was prompt, very cordial, and fixed the problem in no time. Im very happy with DMCs prompt attention and ability to see the job through quickly and efficiently. Ive since signed a heating AND air conditioning service contract. DMC has a customer for life!

Called to get my heat fixed. They came right out. Nice and professional. Said they didnt have time to fix it, but could next week. I had to keep calling. Next week turned into the week after. That week turned into they couldnt fix my heat for another 2 weeks such a waste of time. Why didnt just tell me that didnt have time. Instead of making me call and wait for 12 days before I gave up.

DMC is by far the best heating an air conditoning service. Tom was a real pleasure to work with , and he sent Marc to my house who was very good at following through with calling me and taellimg me the time he would be at my house, and when he did arrive he was polite and respectful ...they will always be my go to heating and air conditioning guys .... thanks DNC!!!!!

My sewer main back up into my house. Called DMC and the gentleman on the phone promise he would have a tech out immediately to my house. They were right on time and got the job done very quickly. The plumber was very polite and friendly. I was completely happy with my total experience with them. Definitely used them for now on. Thanks!
