THANKS FOR SAVING THANKGIVING!!! LIVINGSTON, NJ / JERSEY CITY LOCATION...... So here it was 11:30pm the night before Thanksgiving and I had water coming out both my kitchen sinks, my washing machine and my water softener unit. I have never been a customer of Roto-Rooter but at the advice of my handyman he suggested its a job that needed professional help so I called ASAP. I was told I would have someone at my house by 1:45am. Not great but with no alternatives I said that was fine. Ill be honest. I had low expectations for the level of service Id receive on a call that would likely srtat at 2am and go until the wee hours of the morning... the night before (or morning of depending how you look at it) Thanksgiving I got my call around 1:30am and Harun Alsuteisha said he was in the driveway as Id asked of the dispatcher since there are 3 kids under five asleep along with my wife, visiting family and a dog. Harun was nothing but professional and courteous. He diagnosed the problem, explained the solution and laid out the cost of service and the 6 month service guarantee. With little alternative, I agreed for him to move forward with finding the blockage and correcting the problem. It took time to fix this and it was getting later and later. However Harun never seemed to be rushing simply to get the job. Unilke experiences Ive had with local plumbers since moving in, he suddenly changed the diagnosis to something far worse that would cost more money. In fact, shortly after he began draining water he thought of a more efficient way to fix things. Today is Thanksgiving and for all the many things Im thankful for I will now also add Roto-Rooter and Harun to my list because without him Im not sure if my familys first Thankgiving in our new home would have been able to have happened. So thank you Harun and thank you Roto-Rooter.

I found that my basement toilet was backed up with raw sewage. I have had problems with toilet overflow in another toilet, and sink stoppage in my kitchen at previous times. For all of the previous situations I have had to pay plumbers who seemingly had solved the problems , but evidently only on a temporary basis.Just before I had the raw sewage problem I had worked on that toilet for a whole week with two different types of plungers, with baking soda, and products sold to me for the purpose of clearing my pipes. I have had to pay plumbers, one of whom had to rent professional equipment because his tools were not solving the problem. The Roto-Rooter employee worked on my pipes outside and inside until the sewage was cleared from the toilet, and until the water from both toilets and sinks flowed freely..He never complained, and was polite, patient, and evidently skilled. He also came soon after I had called the company.He was a clean -cut young man who had to do a filthy job , and he worked on it for hours until it was completely done. I also was pleased to find that my bill was less than I had expected. A day or two later another employee came to photograph the inside of my pipes to determine if they had any breaks or holes that would need repair.They did not.I was given a 6 month guarantee and maintenance information.. I was extremely pleased with Roto-Rooters service.

I am not one to usually write reviews unless service was exceptionally good or really bad. In the case of Roto-Rooter, I was very impressed their superior customer service and technical expertise. The service they provided, their timeliness and professionalism were far better than the other 3 providers I had called. The service technician that I worked with was Rod Thomson. He was by far one the best plumbers I have had the pleasure of working with. He was kind, courteous and extremely fair. His customer service was exemplary. His honesty and sincerity really made me feel at ease. Roto-Rooter provided a free estimate, unlike many others. There werent any scare tactics used or any sort of pressure to have to use their service. Furthermore, their pricing was super fair. They really try to work with the customer to ensure that the work gets done well and everyone is happy. In addition, the one year service guarantee was an added plus. I want to personally send my heart felt gratitude to Rod Thomson and Roto- Rooter was having such individuals as part of their team. I would not hesitate to recommend Roto- Rooter to all my friends and family and I would, without a doubt use Roto-Rooter again for my plumbing needs. Thank you again!!

First of all, I would not have even thought of needing to call Roto-Rooter had it not been for my contractor. It was his suggestion that I call and get the entire house clean rather than just the basement where the problem was. I followed his suggestion and someone from Roto-Rooter came the same day I called and was on time.Technician 2429 John was professional and thorough. He snaked out the drain pit that had backed up and found the evidence of the clog that led to the back up of water into the basement. "I thought you might want to see this," he said and showed me two handfuls of empty fruit snack wrappers that had been flushed down the basement toilet! I knew it was my 13 year old grandson sneaking snacks from my stash in the basement. John made sure every drain had been cleaned and flushed. I am definitely pleased with the results and the service. I have not seen any more water on the floor but I do keep a look out. I would call Roto Rooter again and recommended the company to my friends when I talked to my friends.

So, waking up on Memorial Day with a complete occlusion in my sewer line was simply the worst. After my quick Google search, I discovered Roto-Rooters had available technicians/plumbers and booked the first opening in 30-45min. The two gentlemen, Harun (#552) and Reuben (#3309) arrived before I expected and comprehensively explained the entire process. After making quick work of the blockage, I mentioned the $40 coupon advertised on their website. Once the job was complete, they informed me they would be increasing the discount ($99). It sounded too good to be true. I quickly thanked them for their service, paid the bill, and we parted ways. After reviewing the bill, everything checked out. They were both professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. Im grateful for their service today and will of course recommend them to any and all of my friends/family who require prompt plumbing services in the future.

Had a great experience with the Roto Rooter Technician, Victor (#1301, Somerset Branch), on Saturday, May 9th. Victor was the consummate professional. Each and every time, he entered the house, he would cover his boots. He was meticulous with both his work and clean up. He took the time to explain everything that he was doing to resolve our issue. He was working under the kitchen sink, and after completion of the job, even took the time to using cleaning supplies to ensure the cabinet was spotless. Victor had a pleasant attitude, too. When you are dealing with customers having a plumbing issue and hosting a party the next day, it can be a stressful environment, but Victor alleviated our concerns. I was very impressed. He would be my go to guy the next time I need to call a plumber. Thanks, Roto-Rooter!
