I seriously wish that there was an option to put zero stars because this place does not even deserve one. For starters, out of all the New York Sports Clubs around this area, this one is extremely dirty and out of date. 9/10 times at least half the machines are broken. The workers are terrible and have no idea how to deal with customers. They are playing on their phones & looking at naked girls on Instagram while dealing with a customer. Extremely unprofessional. I was supposed to be on a student membership but every month I was being charged higher than expected. Along with all of this, when I went back to school for spring semester I froze my account. Too bad the next day after I froze it someone decided to go into my account and unfreeze so I actually was being charged full price for 3 months. It took many many many phone calls and complaints to even talk to a manger. At that point I canceled my membership. Without anyone saying anything to me I was charged an extra 3 months!!!!! (Meanwhile I did not step foot into that gym from Feb-May 31st & that was to only to cancel). I have been calling and calling every single month telling them to get my name out of the system and they claim they do yet every single month I am being charged. This is the worst gym I have ever been to and has a terrible management team running the place. I guess they like taking advantage of college kids. Join literally anywhere else but here.

This has to be the worst gym I have ever been to. Most of the machines dont work or are out of service. The classes are limited. Paid $300 for a sign up fee under the impression that this would be the only fee I had to pay while I had my membership, only to discover that this was a lie and I had to pay an additional $70 yearly fee on top of my $35/ month membership. 6 months into my membership they started changing the the terms of their contract and instead of getting 1 guest/ visit I could only bring 1 new guest every 6 months. When I asked for a towel to attend a class they told me it wasnt part of my package. IM A STUDENT! This is super shady business. When I called to complain and cancel my membership at the start of the month they told me that they would not refund me the money and that I would have to pay for the month since I was already billed and" finish out the month". It was the first day of the month. Additionally they told me that I would then be charged $30 to cancel my membership. This is ridiculous! I am a full time student and they made it seem like I was getting a deal when I signed up. What I got was ripped off. I will never go to this gym again and I would not even recommend it to my worst enemy.

This is the dirtiest gym with the most unorganized group of people working there. If something breaks it will take over a month for them to fix it. They do not know how to handle basic bussiness transactions. Make sure you send all of your cancelation letters certified and even then they will figure out a way to mess it up, this happened to me on two seperate occasions where i was billed fraudently and it took them weeks to make it right again. They do not treat their members with any kind of respect. The parking lot is extremly dangerous and people park in places that are clearly not spots. There are many cases of hit and runs in their parking lot and because the camera system is just like the gym in general (broken) do not expect to get any help when you see that your car has been damaged in their lot. Out of all of the gyms i have been too this NYSC location is without a doubt the worst. I would not recomend this gym to my worst enemy. This is a gym that can not even master opening up on time so if you value your time, money and health then I suggest finding another gym. It is hard to imagine that any other gym can be as bad as this one.

I have only been a member since December, 2015 and Im already disappointed, front desk are rude, very rarely say hello and greet you with politeness, they are either texting or talking to other employees and look at you like you are disrupting them. The bathrooms are dirty, plumbing in the showers always leaking, supplies are scarce, equipment are not wiped down very dusty and when trying to wipe down the equipment before and after my use the spray bottle and towels to wipe down are never where they should be. The locker room is always a mess. Garbage cans are overflowing. The sauna floor is dirty and dusty, which I no longer use for this reason, but I also think its time for a change of gym.

Was a member here. Charged $5 dollars extra out of nowhere on my monthly fee. The big kid who helped me said it was upper managements decision to (hide) charge the extra fee to help "rebuild and improve the gym"...ok...there was even a "sham letter" from management that he then printed out after he tried persuading me to stay. Doesnt anyone have any pride or principal anymore? There was no fight in me cancelling. Figures, they already know what they are doing is weak and unprofessional. Dont get taken advantage of, join a gym that is straight forward with their fees and charges.

Facility was horrible, steamroom was junk and covered in grime when I went. A lot of the machines were busted and the most of the treadmills could not incline. Furthermore, after ending my membership they continued to charge me for almost a year and even charged me another month after being informed that this had been going on.

Complete scam. Was sent a flyer for $19.95 a month. Called to confirm it was valid and no hidden fees. Drove in and sat down for the talk. I was informed there was a $160 start-up cost, a $30 cancellation fee, a $40 yearly fee, and the $20 monthly fee. Complete bait-and-switch. Stay far away.

Unfortunately the front desk still has not worked on customer service. They never know the answers to any questions. Also, this location runs out of towels. I am dumbfounded how they can charge monthly rates for towel service e and can have days where none are available. I hope they can improve.

Very very dirty gym! Its scary to work out because its so easy to catch some fungus or disease since everything is just filled with old sweat and dirt! The people who work here are more worried about looking cool than keeping the place clean and neat! Worse gym Ive seen!
