I ENTERED ASKING IF THE MINIMUM CAR WASH INCLUDED VACUUMING THE REAR AREA OF MY VAN. THE ANSWER GIVEN BY THE ATTENDANT WAS: "Youre the nervous type of person although you hide it well. Its Passover but we still vacuum." I dutifully paid and upon examining the REAR AREA of my van (which I initially requested to be vacuumed) I found that they DID vacuum the FRONT area of the van, BUT THEY NEVER VACUUMED THE REAR AREA. When I approached the worker who initially "greeted" me he said "What do you expect? You asked for the least expensive wash; its Passover, so if you want your van fully vacuumed, you can always pay the $60 for full service or go to the East New York area and pay a buck at a vacuum place." Ive patronized this car wash for many years, having full detailing done as well as various standard car washes, etc. I even purchased volume discount tickets in good faith. Shame on this employees (or perhaps business partners?) rude treatment of a NOW FORMER customer who will do whatever possible (can you blame me?) to discourage whomever from patronizing this traditional local establishment. Shame on HOLLYWOOD CAR WASH...and Im generally NOT the complaining type.

This morning when I was at Hollywood Car Wash I was told that a complete shampoo wash takes between 1 and 1.5 hours. Not having the time in the morning, I came back in the evening - 7:20pm to be exact. A worker took my car and told me to wait inside. I did. It was 9:00pm and nobody had come to tell me that my car was ready. I went to check and saw some towels on the car and assumed that they were almost done and were wiping it down. At 9:20pm I went again and a worker asked me if thats my car. Upon my response, he said it WASNT STARTED!!!! Two hours and NOTHING was done. Apparently, he took over the other guys at 7ish and was told that my car wasnt a rush - he can do the other cars first. He was very apologetic and all - but I wasted TWO hours for nothing! It took another 20 minutes - plus more pressuring on my part for them to get workers to begin cleaning my car. It took them from 9:40 - 10:50 to finish my car - a little over an hour as was originally estimated. I was there for THREE AND A HALF hours just to get a car cleaning! What kind of service is that? Service where they "forget" their customers!

in one word: robbers. DO NOT USE THEM EVERYONE GOES OUT OF THIS PLACE WITH PAYING MORE THAT THEY WANTED!! i went for a regular oil change, after they did some work that wasnt needed they tell me the oil is very dirty (weird right?) and they have to do a deep clean oil change whatever that means. after arguing with them that there is no such a thing as deep cleaning oil change and i just want a regular oil change they told me they wont do it and if i dont wanna do there deep cleaning stuff i should take my car and leave. by now i was frustrated because they wanted to charge me even for not doing anything so i ended up doing the oil change and it cost me $160!! guys belive me i know a thing or 2 about oil change THEYRE MONEY SUCKERS!! after asking around i found that people always overpay at this place. save yourself a headache and consider another place. good luck

Dishonest. I came here for an oil change. The guy called me out in middle and pointed to a thick, gunky black fluid he claimed was my engine oil. "All that lumpy stuff," he said "Could be a problem with your transmission." He recommended that I get my transmission fluid changed in their garage around the corner. "Ill take it back to the dealership," I said. "We can do it right here," he insisted. "The car is still under warranty," I said. "It will only take a minute," he said. "Itll be free over there," I said. I should have known there was something fishy by the way he kept insisting. The dealership mechanic listened to my story and looked puzzled. "The transmission has its own fluid. Its a separate system from the engine. You cant look at engine oil and diagnose a transmission problem." Doh. Not going back there!

I took my car to get washed and the car wash took off my side view mirror, The owner refused to take responsibility in buying me a new side view mirror. I had to call the police to get a police report and now Im in the process of taking them to court. I drive a 2011 328i bmw which is in excellent condition but for some reason the owner insisted it was my fault because my mirror was loose. He wanted me to take my car to his mechanic and refusing to buy me a new mirror. Now why would I entrust you with my car again and why would I allow you to put a used mirror on my car. I would not recommend this car wash to anyone. This car wash cost me nearly $1000.00 dollars, my time, and a headache. The owner is unreasonable and will only try to get out of paying for something his car wash damaged.

I will NEVER patronize this establishment again. If you choose to get your car washed here be careful because the women who work at the cashier counter are extremely rude and hostile. Case in point: last night I was yelled at for not taking my receipt in the "proper" manner. She literally called me out like a school yard bully and attempted to get into a back and fourth confrontation. When I complained to the manager about the cashiers tirade he simply looked at me and said, "Im sorry. I know." And then he went back to talking to his friend. Hollywood Car Wash is a perfect example of the kind of behavior that typifies why America/Brooklyn is currently suffering from a severe outbreak of stupidity and moral bankruptcy.
