This location was a nightmare. The staff was completely unorganized. Everyone was in the same line, not separated by pickups and drop offs or even reservations. It took almost two hours for me to pick up a trailer. I waited in line for 30 mins and then the clerk told me I had to have the trailer hooked up first to test the electric! They could have made that announcement before we all waited in line. I could have been told ahead of time what the requirements were in terms of the hitch, ball and electric adapter for my truck. A fist fight nearly broke out between two other customers waiting in line due to the lack of organization and management in this store. I would never go back there. It set me back two hours and then I still had a five hour drive upstate afterwards. I got in so late that I had to take the next day off of work. I am not very happy at all.

Thus a great place to rent trucks, expensive but still affordable compared to other places. My only issue was I I kept filling up gas and the gas indicater never moved. By the time it moved, it went up straight to a full tank and turns out I put 10-15 of extra gas. Now the policy seems to be, you return it less than you took, you pay almost double, if you bring it more or extra, your loss. Now its not about the money but principal. Why not just give a full tank and receive a full tank in return instead of having people estimate and guess. This must be the white collar American way of stealing. What are you gonna do about it??

Stay away! About a month after I did, I received a $75 ticket from the city for a violation that happened on a date several days after I returned the van. The violation was in the Bronx. I never even traveled there with the van. The worst part is that I have called more than 5 times to ask the company to rectify the error with the city, and each time someone there has promised to "take care of it," ---- and this past weekend I received ANOTHER fine notice from the city. It still hasnt been taken care of --- and I doubt it will ever be unless I go to the city office on Gold Street - in person - to protest the ticket.

A U Haul rep called 20 minutes ago and informed me that she will have no trucks available for my move tomorrow at 10 am, when asked if I could rent a smaller truck or reschedule for a later time she said that there are absolutely no trucks available of any size, not even a van. This is a much deeper issue than just basic customer service. It almost seemed like the representative enjoyed telling me this. Scary. I submitted an official complaint to U Haul and in the meantime managed to rent a truck from Budget for a much higher price(because of short notice).

I reserved a truck at this location online.. not only did they spontaneously raise the price, but they also changed the pickup time to something super inconvenient (in the afternoon rather than the morning as planned). The women who worked at this location were neither friendly nor professional, but more like automatons with a hint of rudeness who basically said to me that if i am unhappy with my reservation there are many other people who will take my spot. So i cancelled my reservation and ran out of the store. Big yuck for this business.

I reserved a truck one week in advance to ensure that my moving day will be smooth. I received a confirmation call from this location at 6:30pm the night before to confirm a pick up at 5:30pm on my moving day. Absolutely unacceptable! Who begins their move in the early evening? Offering such ridiculously short notice they forced me to scramble to reserve a last minute truck by calling all their competing rental companies in the try state area. Never again will I rent from uhaul, especially from this shady location.

I had a wonderful experience renting a cargo van at this location! The van was brand new and very clean. Everyone there was professional, efficient, and my contract was quickly processed. I moved mid-month and completed their Express Online Check-in before arriving, so perhaps that is why I found the service to be quicker than other reviewers experienced. Regardless, I would definitely use this location again and I prefer it to another Brooklyn U-Haul location I have used in this past.

This place is a joke reserved and didnt deliver then wasted my time taking info email etc then 30 minutes later tells me we have no trucks available.AT ALL went to budget rental on 17 th ave and 63 street paid a little more but got truck no reservation thats service and was able to understand there help proper English clearly spoken and polite Do not go to Uhaul they are incompetent and not reliable Dont make the same mistake I made almost really screwed me .thanks to budget rental I am ok.

Terrible. Be sure to check EVERYTHING and take video of the vehicle inside and outside, they will find any, ANY reasons to squeeze more money out of the customer. Rented a vehicle that wasnt even halfway fill on gas and the mileage on paper was higher than that of the actual #. as a result they wasted us well over 50mins trying to convict us we mess with their vehicle. The worst part the vehicle was only rented for less than 2hrs. STAY AWAY or get ready to fight.

They have confirmed my reservation if a truck being rented, said they had it available. We were in the middle of moving, things planned ahead, people paid on a schedule. Couple hours later they changed the pickup and location time and very being tude to us. I would not rely on them, make sure you record the conversation or take the name of the tepresentative you speak to-very irresponsible way to handle things.

I was very satisfied with their service. The place is a bit out of the way for me which is why I think I never went there before but I should have. Compared to the other uhaul places in Brooklyn this one takes the cake. They are organized and friendly and the store has boxes and tape and all your moving needs. Had I known, I wouldnt have gone to staples for boxes

If you got problems look in the mirror and try to resolve inside yourself. Poor Mexican workers looking to help you as you enter, hired them and they are very nice too. Thank You!

Service was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Dahlia helped me sort out a problem with my cars hitch (wiring previously damaged in a fender bender) and really went above and beyond to resolve the problem. All with a smile and a great attitude!
