This has been a hard way to describe this experience. In the beginning everything seemed to be running smoothly. I thought the staff was nice and helpful and then there were certain interactions with the assistant manager Rosa, from moving in she argued with my father about an unopened lock I purchased and wanted to return 5 minutes later( literally 5 minutes )because I found the one I brought and she didnt want to allow us to return it. Then recently I found that I was charged for this month although I moved out 2 weeks ago and gave 10 days written notice as the contract asked for and so I called just to get it all sorted it out and the first woman I talked to was very nice and told me she would call me back but 4 hours had passed and so I called and Rosaline Boodhoo the assistant manager answered and was rude and nasty and so i proceeded to tell her that I wasnt sure of what I should do because I was told I was going to be called right back she replied with an attitude well it will be reversed tomorrow( which is today) and as it stands nothing has been reversed. I wish that I could say that I had a great experience but it was overwhelmed my the horrible interactions I have had with not only a member of the staff but a someone on the management team. I work in customer service and I know it can be a hard job and so I always try to be a nice and polite as possible so for her to have the attitude and nasty tone that she had for no reason at all I wouldnt recommend staying here when someone like her still works there. I assume she hates her job because she takes it out on the customers. I know my experience isnt over yet because I still have to talk to someone about reversing the unauthorized charge.

My experience with Treasure Island is beyond any expectation, the staff is very professional and courteous not just to new tenant but to existing customers. I was doing renovation to my Brooklyn Apartment and I needed somewhere to place my items temporarily so I Google storage company near me and found Treasure Island Storage in Redhook. I visit the facility to view the storage units, the price was within my budget with a promotion of three month 50% off. The company also offered a truck and driver for two hours so I was very happy with that service. Treasure Island Storage made my move so easy and stress-free. I would happily recommended this particular storage company to anyone looking for both short or long term storage.

Awesome Experience with this storage facility company. The way they kept my valuable artistic expressions safe is something that I cannot savor more. Not only that the amount of money that I paid for these services were just below what I expected to pay and what came to my surprise was how intact everything was. All that art related were kept intact and nothing had been broken or damaged. The customer service provided is also awesome as they are not just there to store items and make money but they are also communicators. Highly recommend this storage company to anyone who’s in need of storing valuable items.

So far so good at T.I.S. My unit was very cheap, around 30 dollars I believe, but stacked on top of the bigger lockers. You have to climb a stair ladder to reach your locker which might be difficult if you were old, lifting heavy or big items, etc. The building is huge and there are no signs or directions within the center, you literally have to memorize where your locker is as the numbering system is not logically easy to follow and the path to the elevators are unmarked. The staff is friendly and helpful, once you get the swing of using T.I.S. it is a great deal for the dollar.

Treasure Island Storage is so very professional and the staff is extremely courteous. The price is reasonable and the service is simply incredible! My family was getting some renovations at our house and we needed to put our things somewhere, so Treasure Island Storage was the place that we went to after asking some friends and neighbors about their experiences. They did not make the process painful and it left me and my family very content and happy! I would highly recommend this company to anyone seeking storage!

This was my first time deal with a storage company. The customer service was excellent. I was running late, I called TI storage to told the gentleman that answered the phone that I was running late. He asked "How far are? " I told him about 10 minutes. Then he said "Ok, no problem I will for you." Not only did he wait for my friend and I he also helped us with the heavy lifting. He did not reach us out. He take his time explaining everything. All in all it was a great experience.

My dealing with this storage facility has been amazing. The customer service has been superb. Im actually treated like a real person when dealing with them. They made it easy for me to transition from my condo in the financial district to my new home in Queens. Anything that I needed from them they were there for me every step of the way. Service absolutely horrible. One gave me the wrong date info (so I lost the unit I initially booked), the other one couldnt find anything on the computer or explain anything (it was as if he was speaking another language), and the so-called manager was about as useless as well. I just felt like the sooner I get my stuff out of there the better. I got it for 2 months with a discount and I am taking my stuff as soon as I can.

Moving is always somewhat of a good and tiring feeling. Deciding to get a storage unit in the area was the best choice. Treasure Island Storage staff was pleasant, informative and a pleasure to do business with, went through the details of the contact, explained the monthly bill and made sure everything was clear and concise. I find the personal attention and service they give to customers beyond others. Francis, and his staff, are professionals. The main office is large and clean, and their large bathroom (which shows how they focus on details as well) is bright, clean, and always maintained. Had a GREAT experience with this Treasure Island Storage location right after a terrible experience with a former landlord in the area. Had to get my stuff out ASAP and was honestly so fortunate to be met with a helpful staff and reasonable prices. Not going to have to look further for my next storage option when I move, unless it is another Treasure Island location.

Ive had an art studio at TI Art Studios located on the third floor of Treasure Island Storage for 5 years. By far the nicest studios around. The staff takes everything into consideration whether it be making a room for spray paint specific artwork, to creating a place for people to photograph their work. They have the artist in mind.
