Always friendly and helpful. I come down from Canada every month or so to pick up packages to avoid their delay in customs, and this Kinek location is super convenient, about five minutes away once youre through the Peace Bridge border location. Ask for a stamp card if they dont offer you one. Like a coffee stamp card, you get a stamp for every package you pick up, and once you hit a certain number of packages, you get one pick-up free. I recommend calling them ahead of a pick up so they can gather your packages beforehand and theyre ready for you and you can get in and out quickly. No fee to join Kinek...you just pay the storage/Kinek spot to hold your package(s) for a fee of abt $5/month (generally--see the Kinek website for specific details abt what they can hold for you, and what their pricing of those items is).

I went to pick up a package marked as 28 lb by the courier. I was told the package was actually 34 lb and it falls under a higher weight category, so I had to pay $10 instead of $5. At the time of pickup I did not have a weight balance I could not confirm the package weight. When I measured the package weight at home, it was 28.2 lb. In any case, the staff overstated the package weight by a lot and overcharged me $5. The staff should have at least re-weighed the package when I raised my concern about the discrepancy. Instead, the staff took my money and said bye-bye - like it was her job to offer ZERO customer service. I would avoid this Kinek location in the future.

I am in the middle of the worst experience with them. I would suggest you do not ship here. They are located in the Ghetto in Buffalo. I sent an item there. I called to inquire about friends picking up my item. I followed the procedure they told me. I called the day that my friends where arriving there all of of a sudden the rules changed. The owner Nathaniel wouldnt even let me speak on the phone. There was ZERO customer service. DO NOT SHIP HERE. I still dont have my item... Also, no one has been clear with me about the charges for holding the item. EVery associate I speak to gives me a different quote.

I have been using Kinek Storage Central in Buffalo for about 5 years. I have had no problems and find the staff very courteous and pleasant. The manager is very friendly and I consider them to be very professional. They always try their best to please. Their rates are very competitive and I will continue using them. Their new location at 148 Virginia St. Is very convenient for Canadians. Thanks Storage Central staff! Suggestion: Please open up on Sundays again as this is the day I need to come to pick up my goods

Great Staff, Nate is great, and the service is always spot on. they are in the middle of renovations and customers are still number one. And the renovations are starting to look really great too, bright and airy interior with lots of windows.

This storage facility was just what I was looking for, as I live downtown and needed sometime local that I could get to easily. Its a new storage building so it was very clean - that goes a really long way for me! Their rates arent bad either..

The hours could be better, but ultimately, they provide a great service. Getting American shipments without paying monthly for a box. $5 pickups on most packages. Love it!
