We called Roto Rooter on a Sunday holiday (Fathers Day) due to our cesspool backing up. I was told by a friendly receptionist/dispatcher that a techician would be out to service the call between 8am-12pm on Monday morning. At 725am Monday my phone rang confirming the service call and before 8am, your employee Kenny G was hard at work on our septic problem. Unfortunately, due to the previous homeowner burying the septic tank and not marking the opening, the job could not be completed in one day. It is pertinent to note that we had at least 3 other septic system companies come for this same job, and none of them were able to locate the tank or adequately pump the system. Your Septic Supervisor came to look at the situation and within 30 minutes, had the problem diagnosed. While the bulk of the work (which included a backhoe tearing up the front lawn) could not be completed until Thursday, your employees were able to clear the drain from the house to the trap enough to allow us to use the facilities (conservatively) until the job could be finished. Again on Thursday, I received an early confirmation call from Roto Rooter, and there was a backhoe digging into the front lawn just before 8 am. The two employees on the job had the tank located and were pumping it out in under 45 minutes. Once they had pumped the tank (which was at maximum capacity) they put the soil back, were very careful with replacing the bushes they had to move(they also did a great job maneuvering the backhoe as to not nick NY of our old growth trees), and they clearly marked the access point to the cesspool so that this issue isnt such a hard job in the future. We have nothing but good things to say about your company, particularly the employees in the Hauppauge/Commack NY offices. Everyone we dealt with from the receptionist, to the septic supervisor were pleasant, helpful, efficient, early to work, very competent regarding how to fix the problem, and they took the time and effort to make sure that the job was done correctly and well. The next time we have a plumbing problem, Roto Rooter will be out first call. Weve already given you positive word of mouth reviews to neighbors and friends. We just wanted the Internet to know as well, that Roto Rooter is THE go to company when your plumbing stops going down the drain. Thanks again to Kenny G and his crew. You guys all deserve a standing ovation.
