My daughter is a student at SUNY Cortland and has had very good experience here. I have 30+ years in the automotive / service business so I am very familiar with automotive repair. Any time she has had a concern with her car, they were able to squeeze her into their schedule. If it was a $20 repair, they recommended a $20 repair, not $200. I never felt the need to intercede to make sure they were not taking advantage of young girl who is clueless about auto repair. I have found Tallmadge to be very reputable, honest and reasonably priced.

Our daughter is a student at the college and had a problem with her a/c leaking or draining water onto her passenger side floor. Tallmadge not only quickly diagnosed the trouble but made the needed repair promptly and only charged for the actual labor time involved. Trustworthy, fair, and competent. What more could anyone want from an auto service center? Made a devoted customer out of our daughter. Thanks to all the staff at Tallmadge!

Were understanding that they might have to put everything back together if they couldnt get parts by the next day so I could drive to an out of town interview, were able to look at the vehicle within a few hours as promised, and fixed it up within 5. Also they did not try to sell me on labor intensive repairs or servicing and dummied down the explanation of what was wrong enough for a auto idiot like myself. Would recommend.

This place is great for a student! They really know their stuff. Theyre very friendly and fair with cost. I have alot of respect for them. I recommend people to go here since its very close to SUNY Cortland.

I thought Tallmadge was pretty good until a $20 inspection turns into $400. It seems that they can find anything wrong with the car at all and pull your inspection unless you pay for it. VERY DISAPPOINTING!
