If you own a Saab and live anywhere remotely close, it would be a mistake not to take it to Don. He knows these cars very, very well. At any general shop, you will pay for diagnostic time, and "specialty" parts will need to be ordered. Don can usually finish your sentences when you describe an issue, and he has the replacement parts on hand. I have since moved to Pittsburgh, where Don recommend another Saab specialist. When I can, I still wait to have my service done by Don when I visit. I trust him, and his prices are much lower. He provides options (new part $$$, used part $$, MacGyver it $). With his help intend to keep my 01 9-3 running for another decade or two.

I paid for 4 hours of "investigating" to have him be 99.9% he knew the problem. After charging me for another 4 hours, the issue was still unresolved. While I can understand him making a mistake and charging me for it, I am more than a little put off that he doesnt have the professional courtesy to return a phone call.

Best SAAB mechanic around. Extremely knowledgeable and more than fair pricing compared to the dealership. Don is the only person I will ever go to with my car.
