Im leaving this review after ive gone to this location twice and purchased a membership. I have a new car, and noticed the first time that it scratched off some of my paint on the both sides of my car. Hoping it was just a one time thing, I gave this car wash another shot and again have arrived home with additional damage to the paint of my car. My paint had NO damage prior to going to this carwash.Not only was my paint damaged, but my car always comes out substantially wet and still soapy in some spots. I had really hoped this car wash would be perfect as I prefer this old fashion style of getting your car washed but unfortunately it was the exact opposite. Id like to get a refund for the month I paid, as well as some sort of compensation for the damage to the paint on my car. I wouldnt recommend this location due to my experience and wouldnt want the same to happen to anyone else. Ive attached photos of the damage.

I just recently bought the unlimited wash and in my opinion its not worth it for what you are getting, my first time at the car wash I was not happy because the armour all did not go on all of my tires and the staff inside was extremely rude to me. My family has been coming to this car was for many years now, I would like to stay as a member but I will go somewhere else If this continues. The woman inside began to scream at me for just a simple mistake on my part of not knowing whether I can clean my mats or not, she then told me I could leave the car wash. I told her I was a member but she didnt seem to care, all she saw was a 17 year old kid. I believe I deserve more than that no matter what My age is or what Im paying, Im still a customer of the car wash. Thank you, Andreas Karaolis

There is a reason this is called 5 Star Car Wash. Shawn treats every customer like they are the most important one to walk in. I recommended the place to my 75 year old mother. She got the 5 Star Wash for $46 and the car came out like new. The owner/Manager has been there since the place opened in 1996 and is the reason I can recommend the place to everyone in Commack. Anyone that ever writes a negative review about this place never gave them a chance to fix a problem they had. People make mistakes. RIPPED OFF, DONT COME TO THIS CAR WASH. I came to this car wash thinking I would pay $14 for the Super wash. It turns out that they charged me $18 for extra services THAT I DIDNT ASK FOR. Called the manager to try to resolve the problem. I told him that I wanted a Super wash, and that I shouldnt have been charged $18. He told me that I got some extra services in the wash. The car DID NOT look like any other services were applied. All they did was shine the tires, which was part of the Super wash! I was completely ripped off. I suggest not going to this car wash.

I have the unlimited car washes. Its a great value for someone who likes to keep their car shining. Only two downsides, first they are sometimes busy and waiting in line for 15 minutes (it shows they have a quality business, just isnt fun waiting in line) and second is that on many occasions I wasnt getting the car wash that I paid for (I pay for the tire shine, triple foam, wax, rainx.... and sometimes it goes through as a basic car wash with none of that..... and Im not gonna wait another 15 minutes in line to do it again...) Overall very good!

At first I thought it was a bit chaotic at the self serve kiosks. There are 2 lanes-one for members the other for non members and people were getting off of the crowded line and jumping on to the clear one. That could probably be done away with. Then, you merge after the kiosks and thats where I realized that it wasnt only the setup--its the people in their cars that have a hard time comprehending the basic merge--cant fix stupid. Overall it is efficiently run. I liked just zipping out once I got my exterior wash and it was a good wash indeed.

Im from the west coast and Ive had a hard time finding a good car wash around here. 5 Star really did a great job! My truck came out very clean and I must compliment the honest gentleman that found $10 in my backseat when he vacuumed. He handed it to me and let me know he found it under the seat when he gave me my keys. Theres a stigma that car washes could possibly steal from you, so I would like to thank 5 Star for having a honest employee. If I lived here I would only go here but Ill always be a customer when Im in the area. Thank You!

I completely disagree with all of these comments. Ive been going to this car wash for years and my car has come out spotless every single time. I have never been disappointed with this place, especially after the renovations they did they installed a state of the art tunnel system and the lobby looks like a spa thats how amazing they made it look. Theres free coffee free popcorn and free candy bowels every to pick on while you wait for you car. You will not be let down going here everyone who works there is super nice and friendly too.

This business rocks! The front end tunnel staff is friendly. The use of machines, soap and multiple water rinses produce a very clean car at the end of the tunnel. Plus, you get to stay in your car (just like the old days in Brooklyn). This location has an automated payment and service selection system located in a drive through kiosk. No need to get out of car. Your are in and out quickly. There is no towel hand drying at the end, but the high speed blower motors address almost all the water to produce a spotless car.

Brought my Challenger in for a full service car wash, interior cleaning included. Car came out spotless and was wiped down and free of water spots. Initial interior cleaning left some shoe dirt and sand behind on the floor mats. I addressed this matter with a gentleman I thought to be the owner and had the issue promptly handled and the interior looking fantastic and looking brand new. Will definitely be returning for another wash!

My car wasnt cleaned like how I expected its not really a 5 star car wash the windows were left dirty the guy used window cleaner to clean my leather seats and used the same rag that he used to clean my door ledge on my dashboard rubber mats still dirty after i payed 4 dollors extra my interior floor still had dirt on it i could have done a better job with a broom then the guy did with a vaccum wasnt satisfied at all

I had been going to the competitor west on Jericho, and I am so glad I tried Five Star. There is no comparison. The car moves through the system with ample soap over the entire car, brushes that do the job, rinses and waxes. When I drive away, my six year old car looks like new! I am able to avoid peak times, so I cant comment on those hours. Plus the monthly charge is less. I couldnt be happier.
