If I could give UPS zero stars I would. I ordered a phone from Best Buy Mobile to replace my broken one. Paid the fee to have the phone shipped to me overnight and arrive the next day. I go to pick up the package at my apartments front desk and they tell me I dont have a package. I check the tracking and it says in transit. I chatted in with four different representatives who all give me a different excuse as to why I would not be receiving the package on the day it was promised. The last rep told me to wait it out until after 7 and it may still arrive. When it did not, I chatted in again and was told the package had been mis-sorted and was in Maryland. He told me to wait until the tracking updates for an accurate delivery day. The reason this is so frustrating is that my package started in Queensbury NY and I live in Syracuse NY which is less than three hours from the starting destination. There should be absolutely no reason for the package to have ever leave the state. I call the customer service line, as I am extremely upset at this point and get no where. Not a single person offered me a solution to get my package to me sooner, they just all kept apologizing. After a while I was tired of hearing apologies because UPS cannot back up the apology with an action. Anyway, I was extremely frustrated and did not want to hear there is nothing we can do anymore, so I decided to just wait and see if the package made its way to me today. Lo and behold, the package made it to Syracuse, but still wasnt expected to be delivered until tomorrow, now two days past the promised date. So I decide I will go pick it up. I call to have the package held and they tell me it will be an $11 fee. I explained that I was already supposed to have this package but due to their incompetence, I was delayed a day already and they would not budge. So I still dont have my package and who knows when it will even get here. UPS SUCKS.

I live in Cayuga, NY, 35 miles west of East Syracuse. My package leaves Illinois and goes to Buffalo instead of East Syracuse. It is then sent to East Syracuse (sits there for 12 hrs.), which is supposed to be delivered to my local post office (35 miles away) for delivery. Instead East Syracuse sends the package back to Buffalo (156 miles in the wrong direction). It arrives at Buffalo and 3 hrs. later its sent back to East Syracuse (156 miles in the right direction). 8 hours later it is scanned for for destination but hasnt departed yet. Lets hope some knucklehead doesnt send it back to Buffalo again. Nice to see UPS drives our packages back and forth for nothing, adding a 2 day delay to the delivery time... I promise you I never usually have an issue with UPS because all my packages are usually delivered on time. What I hate is how incompetent and unhelpful customer service is. Why must we outsource everything. Also, what urks my soul is their exception process. I was to receive a package today by EOD. the arrival scan was at 11:50pm on 7/20. At 5am this morning I went in and requested the package be held since my shipper didnt require a signature on a $200 purchase. A 9am this morning 7/21 the package stated Destination scan. So I call customer service at 4:00pm to see if the package would be ready by 5:30pm and this person couldnt assist. First of all he answered the call Yes? Yes? really? are you that bothered that I am calling in for assistance? Maybe, he should have taken the day off. He sounded annoyed I asked questions. Then I asked him to call the facility since there was no direct number listed in Google. He said he didnt have a direct number. SMH really. so unhelpful. Here is my piece of advice, if you are awaiting on Brown to deliver you a package, take the day of and stalk the heck out of them, and maybe the next day also. And..... never call customer service for anything. They pretty much will tell you they have the same information that we have online. Sad how impersonal these companies have become. I am all about self-help but sometimes I need to ask questions and need a person to interject.

UPS has been trying to deliver an important package to my residence since last week. I kept signing the back of the delivery notice and leaving it visible so the driver would leave the package. There were three attempts....one box checked off "will deliver next business day." The two other times boxes were checked for need customer signature. I called customer service (call center) and asked the polite woman why the driver wasnt leaving the package. She said it did not require a signature, so to leave a specific note for the driver. I asked her how I can get the package if it wasnt left. She said she could put in for a later deliver - 5:30pm or after (I dont know what people do when they work full time and try to sign for a package during the day) OR I could go to the UPS location and pick it up.....but get this....It is the Holiday season- they are closed the weekends, and only open 9:30pm - 6:00pm Monday - Friday. Had I known I had to sign for something I bought, I would have never had it shipped this way. UPS has inconvenient service during the busiest time of the year. I hope that when I have to go to UPS during my lunch and way out of my way to pick up the package that I dont have to wait in a mega line.

I have a very important piece of information that was mailed to me "next day air" paid 25 bucks for the shipment. Now first day I wasnt able to sign the package fine In understand, Second day no one even comes all day to deliver ! Now today 04/14/16 After signing online to receive my shipment and leaving "post its" on the door of my building I received a call telling me "no you didnt not sign online". Ive literally been online all day making sure the darn thing was signed and still in all they failed to deliver. So I pay next day air on a package to have no accommodations ? It was better off being sent regular mail. Honestly just feel bad for UPS because its a great place, I love it. But this location has some serious slackers here. Im a working guy and value honestly and loyalty to customers, this is really a shame people deserve better you have no idea what valuable items you carry. And to not be able to deliver is to fail in this case.
