PLEASE READ BEFORE USING TWO MEN AND A TRUCK. I recently used Two Men and a Truck for a move from a 2 bedroom apartment on the UES to an apartment on the LES, 50 blocks away exactly, just a little over 1 mile. I was quoted for 4-5 hours. To begin, they sent the most incompetent, inexperienced, laziest crew to move us. . Two Men and a Truck recommended we use 3 men for the move, out of 3 men, 2 were new employees (brand new as one stated). They also kind of stated we are new with absolutely no experience. This was brought up because I was questioning there confusion and it was apparent, they had no idea what they were doing. The one so called experienced, so called Lead guy definitely didnt lead by example. 5 hours into it we were still at the first location with hardly anything loaded into the truck. I was doing work myself because the one young man was left alone for two hours and didnt know what to do. By the 7th hour I was told the truck they sent was too small and was meant for a studio or one bedroom move. I asked whos fault that was and he stated that it was the companys, are you blew away yet? Now that he was involved he instructed the guys to take things out and rearrange them only to get the same outcome over and over. At this point Im in tears, getting yelled at by the building because the elevator was reserved with no time left. At this point they said there was no way to get any other outcome with the truck so I had to tell them to close the truck, go to the new apartment, unload and go back. We went to the new apartment leaving at the same time and I waited almost an hour before they arrived. Hour 8!!! When I asked what took so long their answer was traffic meanwhile we both took the same trip but at this point it wasn’t worth arguing over. Now they begin to unload, Things are being pulled out of the truck haphazardly, not protected not wrapped at all! Things are being brought in and just put down anywhere, nothing in the right spot. I was trying to direct them but the lead guy stated they would worry about that later and they needed to get on with the move. It wasnt worth the argument I just needed to get this done and I was way past the time restraints for the building. While the truck was being emptied, the newest guy who had been working the hardest all day kept apologizing, he saw how upset I was and he stated how angry he was with the other two. The next delivery came over 2 hours later, hour 11. I had no idea what to do, I asked them to contact their manager and they stated they couldnt get anyone as it was too late. More stuff came in and was placed anywhere again being dragged, banged and broke. All I kept thinking was how badly I wanted this move to be over, it was really late and I thanked god I bought the insurance, I figured Id just deal with it tomorrow. At this point we had our first visit from the Police, yes or first visit. They had received a number of complaints from our new neighbors. They also warned the crew they were creating a fire hazard in the lobby and to immediately fix the issue. At this point 15 hours later, it was after 1:00 in the morning, an armoire still in the lobby and I didnt know what to do. Did I mention that I had work at 5 and my kids were still up (no bed) with school the next day. I had to throw in the towel. I told them they had to stop, it was way too late, I was wiped out. I told them if they couldnt do it they would have to come back the next day and either store it in the buildings storage room or put it back on the truck. Each step made me cringe as it echoed in the lobby so loud in now the am. He even pushed it into his coworkers leg at one point as he was trying to stop him from doing what he was doing. I didnt want to yell at him or say anything because I so was worried about what he might do. I was there alone, scared and I just wanted him to leave at this point. When they were finally gone it was 1:35 am. Please inbox me for more info. Spread the word

DO NOT EVER HIRE THIS COMPANY. This has been the most painful moving ordeal I can imagine. TLDR: 14 hour move for a one bedroom apartment, dresser still in living room 4 days later. - When we hired these guys, we told them that the place we were moving to had a small spiral staircase and our furniture would need to be hoisted to the upstairs balcony. Apparently no one relayed that message because they showed up to our move with zero equipment (not even bungee cords which are almost always needed to secure furniture inside a truck) and no knowledge of the situation. - They packed the boxes first, leaving the big furniture till the end and THEN RAN OUT OF ROOM on the truck, so that we had to drive 2 hours to our new home with boxes on our laps. The guy said hes been doing this for 4 years, he should know this is the most inefficient way possible to pack a truck. - They showed up on time at 9 am, so theres one positive. Except they didnt finish loading the truck until 7pm. 2 hour drive to our new place, we were unloading till 1 am. It shouldnt take 14 hours to move the contents of a one bedroom apartment. - They said the my would hire another company with the proper equipment to get our furniture upstairs. Today my bedframe was finally moved to the 3rd floor (by another company). My dresser is still sitting in my living room 4 days later, the manager has left for the day at 4:30 pm, and there is no solution in sight even though we compromised and just asked them to move it to the 2nd floor. Buyer seriously beware.

Very disappointed with this company, one of the driver from TWO MEN HIT my brothers car and lied to him. Its been a week now and no one want to follow up.This company doesnt want to take the responsibility. TWO MEN is a such big company that I am very surprised the way that they treat people who are NOT their customers. Be mindful when you see their truck while you are driving on the street !

JP and Hiram did a great job moving me out of my one bed apt. They were super professional, friendly and got the job done quicker than I had expected. When booking Joe really bent over backwards to fit me in. Would definitely recommend this company. They made my move 100 times less stressful.
