Very simple transaction. Very professional protocal. I received an immediate quote over the phone and was able to reserve a date during the same conversation. I received various confirmation and follow up emails and calls in the weeks leading up to the move. The morning of, the team showed up on time, explained their process and then proceeded to take on the job. Anytime there was an issue, it was communicated between the foreman and i, the foreman and the main office and again between the main office and i. The movers were in good spirits and didnt let my nasty neighbors ruin their morning (they were complaining about the elevator being used, of course). The truck experienced an engine issue mid trip but the company compensated me with a discount of 2 hours! All in all, none of my furniture experienced any damage, the job was done in 6 hours total and the foreman kept everything simple and transparent. Very well executed.

The decision is not yet in on this company... but I contacted them, had an on-site inspection, then received a contract with a price. The price is good, but the contract allows them to charge up to 25% more than the contracted price, and the contents are not insured for actual value but for trucking weight (who weighs the contents of their house? and when you do the math you get pennies on the dollar). When I agreed to the contract they wanted to charge me $20 for the confirmation of the moving date, but the $20 would not be deleted from the final bill??!! We are to move tomorrow – I got a call today suggesting that I the 4 moving men to six men! At an additional cost! They suggested the 4 moving men two weeks ago... so why call me the day before the move to up it to 6 men? Ill let you know if they stand by their contract, but somehow I doubt they will abide by the contracted price.

These guys were awesome. Moved my entire apartment from NYC to NJ without any issues. The sales rep was super professional and answered any and all my questions, even the ones that seemed a little ridiculous. I only gave them 4 stars because the price was a little more than most companies, but now a days, you get what you pay for and it was worth the extra cash for the peace of mind. Im using them again next year when I move to California.
