Give it one but to be honestly I should give it minus 90, I had them for 3 years now cause sadly enough they are the only provider on my area so I thought, they always jack the price whitout notices a lot of extra charges for stuff the they make up, just last month I got a 6 bucks reconnection fee when I call asking for an explanation and ask the representative when did they send the notice about new charges which they never had he told me and said that was a mistake it would never happen again, (yeah ok) before that I had turbo 20mbs but you know very very very slow almost worthless ( I seriously thought I had dialup) upgrade to extreme 30mbs the only thing the when up was the price cause the speed was pretty much the same so I got fed up call them one more time after an hour maybe longer ask them to cancel the service until then the guy notice the my router was to old and no compatible, he convinced me to keep the service and send me the new router they say new but it had a bunch of scratches obviously used or newer for me I guess, not a big improvement if any at all, called again after few months, try to cancel then I got an offer which it sounded good to be honest 75 bucks just few more for what I was paying whit tv and the 50MBS internet like an idiot I when for itone last time, the guy on the phone and the lady a the office said to me when I pick up the new router and tv box yes 50mbs internet came home call to start service and they told me then IM SORRY THE TV AND 50MBS INTERNET FOR 75 BUCKS IS ONLY FOR NEW YORK CITY AREA FOR THE HUDSONVALLEY IS ONLY 15MBS IF I WANTED THE 50MBS I HAVE TO PAY EXTRA 50 BUCKS IN TOP OF THE 75, I told the guy it was no way i was going to pay that much more for their mistake and I ask the guy to put it back to what I had before (extreme 30mbs )and the guy told me If you want to do that it was going to cost me 89 plus when the day before I was paying 72 for the same service and the reason was cause I whent from 2 services to 1, tired of giving my hard earned money away finally called DIRECT TV and now Im going to have internet by satellite.... WOULD I RECOMMEND TIME WARNER CABLE TO A FRIEND OR FAMILY? HEEEEEELLLL NO.... NOT EVEN TO MY WORST ENEMY....

SHAME ON YOU TIME WARNER CABLE I have never seen such disorganization, such unclear answers, such incorrect billing, such poor customer service in any business organization ive ever encountered. I was incorrectly billed after discontinuing my service because i was moving. they billed me three times after i moved for services that i had discontinued in person as well as dropped off my equipment. after i supposedly had this part straightened out they hit me with an equipment charge for equipment that never existed, after i returned the only equipment i ever had from them. after visiting the office on industrial drive twice in person and being told twice that the charge was "in review" and the promised to call me each time i stopped in when they had settled the "matter" i was sent into collections!!! mind you i have perfect credit so where does this leave an upstanding citizen who pays their bills???? i would rather go without TV for life then ever have to return to using their services. Time warner SHAME ON YOU!

Signed up for television service. I left work early to be home by 230 to be there for the 3p to 4p install time. No one showed up so I called at 530pm. They said the tech made a note that he was here at 402pm and no one was home. Either he went to the wrong house or he is a liar since Ive been sitting in my living room waiting from 230 to 530. Now theres no way he was here. I would have seen him pull in the driveway or the dog would have barked had he knocked or there would have been tire tracks in the snow on the driveway. I told the rep to cancel the installation. How can your installation department operate like that? Shouldnt they call before leaving if they thought I wasnt here? Sounds like an integrity issue on the part of your installers. The rep offered a one time discount of $20 but that was unacceptable. If their customer service is that bad before you get their service, imagine how bad it would be when youre locked in with them.

Really terrible experience with this company. Made an honest mistake with forgetting to return their equipment and they totally screwed me over by claiming that my call to deactivate my account wasnt on file. They charged me for a month of internet I didnt use and customer service treated me like I was trying to pull a fast one on them when the modem I had was unplugged and deactivated so their service wasnt even being delivered. I wouldnt mind if they charged me just for returning the modem late but making me pay for service that wasnt used is absolutely ridiculous. Also they jack up their prices every month and are extremely overpriced for Internet that is sub par, definitely look for another company if possible.

I HAVE NEVER DEALT WITH A WORSE COMPANY IN MY LIFE! IVE BEEN DEALING WITH THEM FOR OVER A MONTH TRYING TO GET MY EQUIPTMENT AND BILLING RIGHT. first the sent me the wrong equipment. so I had to send it back and wait for the right ones. then my bill was 70 dollars more than I was quoted. I spent over 3 hours on different occasions trying to get this resolved and each person I spoke to had no idea what they were talking about. a month later and my bill is still wrong... I cant record shows and cannot connect my Wi-Fi. oh but they credited me 20 whole dollars for wasting hour and hours of my time. how nice. I have honestly never been so angry in my life.

Very bad customer service. A tenant in another apartment moved out, and they shut my service off instead. When I called to find out what had happened, they acted like it was my fault. Refusing to restart my service till they contacted the other tenant to verify if there was indeed a mistake. But no one ever contacted me to verify having my service terminated. After an hour and a half, I told them to forget it I would just return their equipment. They called up 2 hours later apologizing for their mistake. I hung up and returned the equipment the next day. Im not paying them so that I can be mistreated, screw them.

Spectrum is horrible....one star is honestly too high of a review. Horrible customer service. Spoke to several representatives...most had different answers, different records of previous calls, and to top it off....attitudes. Techinican claimed he called and knocked but no one answered. (Thats a lie. We were home...with the doors open as were renovating....and phones close by.) So...the technican canceled the ticket and it was somehow rescheduled to later this week. Must have been by a ghost because that wasnt done by us. Do not appreciate this lazy....passive aggressive...lack of communication experience.

Can I give negative 6 stars??? Ive invested way too much time trying to set up an account and I think this company is just making things up as they go. Theres not enough room to write my horrible experience... and its still not resolved!!! After multiple techs to my house, hours on the phone, multiple visits to our local store, overcharging our bills and then messing up our plan all over again because the service rep on the phone must have been finishing up his shift and didnt want to deal with us so he rushed us off the phone and screwed up our whole plan, my problem still isnt fixed and Ive had ENOUGH!!!
