Moving Right Along, with all your electronics. Foremen that are going through a break up, and break down on the job. Instead of padding your furniture, padding their bank account...The worst experience with a moving company Ive ever had, and Ive done 21 local and long - distance moves! First, the foreman started the job 2 hours late, only to be on his phone for the next hour. He said he was touching base with the office, and angrily snapped that he was "Working doing dish pack, lady!", but I later overheard another worker tell him "Not to take the break up so seriously. That b**** has you wack! Just forget about her.", so no, it wasnt a work text...or 20 texts...and no, Mr. Skinny wasnt wiping away tears, and repetitively punching the outside of my apartment building because of "work". Next, approximately $10,000 of electronics, mostly Apple laptops, and high - end server - type drives went missing, and interestingly, there was no record of all this stuff being packed. Literally, 6 people said they never saw it. Gone are photos of my 1st born when he was, well, born. I didnt think anyone would want THAT drive. It was really old, and worn! Finally, although I tipped and got insurance, the company took absolutely no responsibility for the situation, and finally after months of over-promising, and under - responsiveness, I took my husbands advice, and radically accepted that all my **** was stolen, never to be seen again. The last straw, a storage company that Moving Right Along contracts with for out of town storage was supposed to pick up some of my items, but they didnt. Fun, because who doesnt want to spend $500 to rent a Uhaul in the rain.

If you are looking for a professional, affordable, and honest moving company, Moving Right Along is the way to go! I was referred to the company by a friend, who has used them multiple times (all great experiences I was told). We moved apartments in NYC and the entire process was seamless. Timothy, the manager, was flexible with moving dates/times (I had to change multiple times due to the buildings rules) and provided transparent communication along the way. Our movers were led by John and they all did an excellent job packing and ensuring that the furniture was well protected for the move. They loaded and unloaded everything quickly and with respect to our possessions (no damage to anything). I hate the stress of moving, but Moving Right Along made it very easy. Big thanks to Timothy, John and Crew for the great job - I would recommend these guys to anyone of my friends or family.

I hired Moving Right Along to move a couple of large, expensive pieces of furniture that I didnt want to risk moving myself. It cost $700 or so and I even paid for their extra insurance because I thought it would be worth it to be extra careful with these pieces. When they were moving, though, I saw them rushing over uneven surfaces, putting things down roughly, and just not taking proper care of the items. They also took hours longer than they should have to get from one place to another, and charged for every minute of that time. They ended up damaging a beautiful lacquer TV table, and responded by sending out a repairman who only made things worse and completely ruined the finish. About two months later, this is still unresolved, and they wont honor their insurance policy. Stay far, far away from them. TL;DR, they cost a ton, charge for everything, and ruin your stuff

This is the worse moving company EVER. My move was in October and they did everything wrong. The estimate, made without visiting my apartment to review what needs to be moved, was much lower than it ended up being. They even had to call in an extra man during the move. The movers were morons and weak. The foreman was a young kid who couldnt manage himself. The only hard worker was the older guy who packed the truck. The drill they brought to take apart, and then put together, some furniture was broken. I had to borrow tools from neighbors since my stuff was already packed. They smashed a stone table of mine, which also caused damage to my new apts floor, when it hit. Dealing with the home office on the damage was one of the worse customer service experiences ive ever had. Their insurance offer for the broken table was insulting. STAY AWAY, THESE GUYS ARE THE PITS!!!!!!

Simply the best! This is the 2nd time Ive used Moving Right Along and both times were a wonderful experience. My mover Francisco was great. All of my items were moved with care and attention to detail; not a single item damaged. Everything was thoroughly wrapped and protected on my first move to a storage unit and everything was carefully was placed where I asked on my next move from the storage unit to the new home. Francisco even put the front door back on the hinges when we were done. Bonus…The job was finished earlier than the estimate. I would highly recommend Moving Right Along to anyone!!

I know that this review is late...in fact its almost 3 years late...but I still figured it would be nice to write. Using Moving Right Along was a wonderful experience. As a matter of fact I used them twice. They were prompt and very helpful during my moves. The moving personnel were very professional and even helped me with things such as arranging furniture. I must say that Moving Right Along is a terrific moving company. I am planning to move to NJ and I will definitely consider using them if the price is right. Excellent company providing excellent service.

I used them years ago and they were good. Unfortunately, not anymore.. Slow moving clollection of clowns jacking up the cost and mysteriously, software disappeared. They also complained that the tip I gave them, which they did not deserve, was not large enough, and charged me for a parking violation they got even though a man was supposed to be by the truck. Bad attitude, bad service-- nothing good at all about this company.

Moving Right along was terrific from start to finish! The staff is so easy and pleasant to work with: responsive, fair in pricing, and courteous from the initial estimate to the last sweaty minute of hard work. The men who did the packing and moving were prompt, worked fast and carefully, and even had the knack for making the process seem less nerve wracking! Thank you to each person. I highly recommend this company.

Moving Right Along has done several moves for me. The last one was very complicated with multiple pick up and drop off points. My moving team was very organized and listened to me. As a result everything got to where it was supposed to go without getting damaged or lost. They will even get rid of furniture you no longer want and can store items too. I highly recommend them for their professionalism and expertise.
