OK- monro use to be my 1 and only place I would go to- now that Garry and Bob arent there this place doesnt know anything and are so unfriendly- in Feb my car was puting I went there any they looked on computer and saw a misfire in cylinder 1 so I got wires and plugs all replaced coasting me about 400 bucks- they said this is 100 percent the problem nope wasnt check engine light came back on the next morning and I was back in so they did this flush thing that coast me 110 bucks and said this is Definitely gonna fix it nope didnt... I took my car else were!!! So I just went there a week ago for my oil change and Brian the new manger is so mean and unfriendly- they used the wrong oil and got pissed that they had to change it again so they s slammed the oil pan and oil spilled... Brian called me into the garage- as I was walking in a slipt on oil... He didnt even ask me if I was OK!!!!- I call and spoke with Frank he said he will take care of this matter but nothing was handled!!!! He said he will refund me my money havent seen it yet and he will take matters with Brian and me slipping on oil.... I could sue u guys for this matter but I am not that type of women! !!!!!! I was a loyal customers to u guys but now that u have dummies working group for u and unfriendly people I will never bring business to u guys ever again!!!!!!!!!

DO NOT GO HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. I brought my car in for a simple oil change and inspection. The inspection passed with flying colors as expected (since the car never showed any problem signs) and the oil change was a standard $20 oil change. The second I started my car in the parking lot it sounded a little different. The next day driving on the highway on my way to work I see gray smoke in my rear view mirror. My check engine light pops on and I try to pull over on the side of the road but before I do there is a loud snapping sound and black smoke starts pouring from the hood. My cars head gasket blew from what I believe was Monroe putting the wrong type of oil in the car. Head gaskets dont just explode the very next day after an inspection. Monroe denied all responsibility of course and told me this could have happened to anyone. If you enjoy having a working vehicle that can get you from point A to point B then I urge you not to take your car here. I would give them 0 stars if possible.

NO STARS ....Would not let me post unless I picked at least one star. I went in for an oil change and to have my brakes inspected. I was told my brakes were fine but my shocks and struts were bad. I agreed to have back shocks changed and was told it would only take an hour or a little more if needed. The Tech did NOT bother using any penetrating oil or heat to loosen the bolts but instead went full force with a torque wrench and snapped the bolts! the hour job turned into 6 1/2 hours and my entire day was screwed ! On top of that when i went to pay, the manager wanted to charge me for the new bolts that they snapped, a rear wheel alignment for 94.99 and the oil change that was $19.99 was billed $29.99 I notified corporate manager Frank and was told I would get some credit for things i was over charged on. Am I happy? Hell NO! They wasted 5 hours of my day off that i could have been enjoying and on top of that they wanted to rape me with the bill! I will never !!! never !!! go there again.

Shady!!!!!! Walked in with a $40 coupon for a synthetic oil change and free tire rotation. I did splurge 10 bucks for a new air filter but walked out paying $75 with no tire rotation. Be careful here. Should have checked the prior reviews. Seems like a trend. Will get the word out!!!

My cousin took her car here to change the oil and they did the work so recklessly that they spilled oil all over the motor and the motor had smoke coming out of the hood. Also the employees were so rude about it.

Friendly, reliable service, and very helpful. Anytime I have had repairs done on my car it ended up being under the quoted price. They have never suggested unneeded repairs or maintenance.

Had a slow leak in a tire during a trip. A place just south of Monroe wanted us to wait 3 hours to fix it. Drove to Monroe and it was fixed in 20 min and got us quickly back on the road.
