I dont know why there was 2 poor reviews in google but my experience was much different I found the price to be very fair!!!!!! Maybe the people that reviewed have not called a real locksmith in the past but if you had you would realize the prices are extremely fair and probably below most locksmiths. The locksmith that came to my home was very knowledgable SAVED ME MONEY AND MADE MY LOCKING SYSTEM SAFER!!! He was right on time with the appointment I made prior the day before they said 9 and he was there a little before 9am. How often does that happen? The person that I originally spoke to gave me a quote and it was right on with not only what I had hoped it would be but also for the service I recieved very inexpensive. The other thing that I might note is that I have an old antique door that takes a different locking system and many times cost more money to fix I know this because I have called other locksmiths. Would highly recommend this company and feel safe to say they are honest and I felt safe when they were in my house. What a lot of people dont realize is that they are knowledgable with all lock sets which if you call other companies you will find it difficult to get such a well rounded company. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND ADVANCED SAFE AND LOCK INC. USE THEM YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY I WASNT!!!!!!

I first contacted Advanced Safe & Lock in January of 2009 to fix a broken lock at my house. Even though they had installed the master key system at my house originally, they had no record of it. That seemed odd but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. The serviceman was very nice although they did charge me a $55 trip fee and my house is less than a half mile away. I used them again in October of 2009. Again, they had no idea who I was. They came out and changed my locks and said they would put the system on file so it would be simple the next time. I used them again in October of 2010. To my surprise, they had no record of ever dealing with me, and once again told me they would put the system on file so it would be easier/cheaper next time. Well, its June of 2011 and I need my locks changed again. I just visited the store, where I met the same man I dealt with in October, and of course, they have no record of the system. When I mentioned I had worked with them 3 times in the past he shrugged and said Sorry! This is by far the worst customer service I have ever received anywhere.

Ok... wifey locks herself out of house as she was leaving to tend to ailing Mom. Im up north at cottage. Wifey is at wits end as she has to go to work after tending to Mom. I grab a locksmith off of Internet... Advanced Safe & Lock, thank heavens. The gent was in the area and could take care of us in next 1/2 hour. He coaches me thru the whole process, ie, send copy of drivers license via text; send authorization letter via text; send credit card # via text. AS&L rep gets the job done in half hour and were done... fini...done! I call wifey who is somewhat overwrought at the thought of being locked out... she nearly started to cry she was so happy. Thats my experience with this customer first company. AS&L is a problem solver!

Their service and knowledge is nothing short of exceptional. Poor google reviews dont mean much to me when I see others listed here with the complete opposite message. They always seem to be a competitor bashing a business or someone stupid with a grudge. I used Advanced Safe and Lock to replace the locks in our commercial buildings interior and exterior doors. They even showed us security issues with our current setup that we never even knew we had and offered correction advice! These guys come very highly recommended by me and my business associates.

I hired them to install a screen door lockset. They never showed up and werent very apologetic. I called them twice about arrival. The first time, I was told the guy should be on his way. After waiting 45 minutes, I called again. This time, they said to wait another 20 minutes. After 30 more minutes, I gave up. I dont think they really wanted the job.

Im confused about some of these reviews. I stopped into the shop the other day with my steamer trunk and got instant service. They guys only charged me $20 and I got my trunk unlocked and a new key! I have brought this trunk over 5 different places and couldnt get it open, Rick is very talented. I wouldnt go anywhere else.

I had to have a car transponder key cut that I bought over the internet. Advance did the job easily and the key worked without any flaw. Went previously to a couple other places. One the key wouldnt work at all. The other the key worked, but it would not turn in the door lock every now and then. No problem with Advance!

These guys are OUTSTANDING!!!! We are new to the area & my wife locked herself out with our 3 year old when I was out of town....even on a busy day & being "spread thin" they got over & her in the house quickly. Not that it matters but the price was fair too. Thanks guys you are awesome!!!

Been using their lock services for my home and two business buildings for years. They have always been courteous and professional. They will work on very old lock systems that no one else in the area seems to be able to. Highly recommend them.
