I stopped at R J Lock & Security and purchased a double-cylinder deadbolt and a lockbox. The service at the showroom was helpful and friendly. I found the prices to be competitive with hardware stores and the selection to be excellent. I set up an appointment to have the items installed. Jeff called ahead to confirm that he was on the way and arrived in the time frame promised when I had made the purchase. He went right to work and completed the job promptly and did a nice job. We recently purchased an existing home and had no idea how many keys were out in the world. I entered the store expecting to pay a lot of money for 4 new deadbolt and 4 new entry locks. Though she did not have to do so, the very nice lady suggested that we have one of their technicians re-key our existing locks on our new home. Jeff showed up on time, was extremely efficient, did not interrupt our regular business and took just over an hour. The re-key option saved us a bundle. This is a quality business and I would recommend it to any new homeowner.

Disappointed. I stopped by to have them "key" my Dodge Durango Key blanks that I had purchased elsewhere. They are the type that has a built in Key Fob. They said their owner does not allow them to grind keys not provided by them. I went to a competitor not far away and they without question happily completed the service for me. I purchased a couple of other things while they did the work.

I called RJ Lock and Security to help me unlock my VW EOS that was in my garage and they wouldnt come out because they never worked on an EOS and VWs are tricky - Really? Youre locksmiths!
