I recently wrote to commend you on an employee, Gina, who never misses an opportunity to be helpful. Let me preface this review by pointing out that, while her service to customers is exceptional, Ginas deference toward customers is typical of the manner in which Im accustomed to being treated by employees of the Westgate Office. By stark contrast, the experience I had with employee #55 this evening was an aberration. Its the first time Ive ever felt disrespected by a USPS employee at any location. As I approached her station, #55 did not acknowledge me, and then proceeded to be dismissive in a manner which suggested disdain. I made an attempt to counter with politeness, but she only became more passive aggressive in both attitude and response. Her behavior felt discriminatory and, since I have no history with this individual, theres nothing else to which it could be attributed. Im sorry I allowed her to negatively affect me. As was clear in the expression on her face, that was the goal. (I can only describe said expression as that smug look of self-satisfaction malcontents get when theyve managed to displace their anger.) Im also sorry to make such an unpleasant report. However, Ive learned ignoring behavior like hers does not help it to improve. J. Edward McWilliams

Different carrier every day, comes very late in the day, and they make no attempt to deliver certified letters, Infact they just put a" sorry we missed you!" tag in your box...I heard the carrier at the box, hoisting her bag to write the slip! Nope. No knock...in addition, I attempted to call the office to address the issue while the Carrier was still in the block. The phone was not answered til it disconnected. I called back to be told they have no contact with the carriers out in the field, with Federal Vehicles. They could at least page the carriers...what a dis- service. Just another frown, when they ask for a few more pennies to slap on our stamps. Very poor representation of Federal Services! These ratings can be used for positive ratings too. Show us our contribution means something or we can buy our Federal Stamps at Wegmans. He delivers, qualify. Earn your stars Feds!

I have been using the services of this post office for over 5 years and I have never had any problem at all. Customer service is not bad at all, maybe some time it was hard to reach them by phone but this guys are extremely busy sometimes, a little consideration and common sense would be helpful to understand that this can happen at places where workers stay busy like that. If you go to other post offices located in areas with similar demand you will know for sure what a delayed service can turn into. This location is actually great. I have never, in so many years, lost a package or any correspondence, I can not think of any reasonable complains. I believe their services are up to what should be expected. Thank you guys for your hard work.

Never answer phone. Packages that were supposed to be delivered to me were instead delivered elsewhere and the PO standard answer is that once the item has been scanned they consider it delivered. They tell you to call the police and report the package stolen. Have had to call Consumer Affairs 3x to get any resolution. When they finally admit their mistakes, dont expect an apology or restitution. No wonder they lose $Billions every year.

This has been a horrifying experience thats still unresolved. The people here dont answer the phone. Deliver your products to another person. WHEN YOU GO INTO POSTAL OFFICE I WAS LEFT STANDING TO SIDE FOR 45 MINUTES TO EVEN SPEAK TO SOMEBODY ABOUT MY PACKAGE. Then on top of that the mail lady said how she couldnt get the package back! Like "WOW" SHE HANDS ME SOME PAPER & SAY I HOPE YOU HAD INSURANCE, START YOUR CLAIM!!! REALLY!!!!

Weve lived in town for almost 40 years and have always had good customer service at the Howard Rd. Branch location. I just called and the phone was answered, my question courteously answered too. Our mail delivery to the house leaves alot to be desired. Most of the time the doorbell doesnt even get rung for a package delivery, even though someone is home. Many items arrived banged up or damaged. :-(

Same as everyone on here just about. I work from home. They dont even bother to ring the doorbell. Just slip a note in my mailbox at a time that I know I was available. Then of course no answer to a phone call on several occasions. If you are going to come to my door to put a note in the box, why not ring the doorbell while you are there and - oh I dont know - ACTUALLY DELIVER MY PACKAGE!!!!!!!!

Easily the worst post office Ive ever been too. Employees are generally rude and unhelpful. Extremely inefficient. Never had a problem sending packages, but every experience is somehow tainted by the tenured government workers attitude. I try to visit this location as seldom as possible even though its the most convenient for me.

On 8-31-17 I was home sick with a horrible flu virus. My husband decided to help me by mailing a large box to our college kid. The address was incomplete. I called Westgate and spoke with Melonie who located the package and made sure the Apt # was added to the package. I appreciate the extra effort!

Refuses to deliver to a business, when they actually do deliver its after the business is closed & doors are locked, so nothing can be delivered!! We have a business that bills go out & bills come in, its not up to the postal service to decide when they should & shouldnt deliver!!!!!!

The worst. This division does not pick up the telephone at the listed number. There is another number: 613-3218 which also is never picked up, and you will then be directed to a mailbox which is full. These are federal employees. Where is the accountability here?

This Post Office does not even answer the phone, I got referred to the local # from the 1-800 #, and says hours are til 6 PM. I called before 4:30 PM and let the phone ring for over 5 min with no one picking up. I do not think they know what customer service is.

Ive just located to Rochester from Brooklyn and the service and customer service at this post office is great in my opinion. The staff was friendly and very helpful to me and compared to the city post offices they are a breath of fresh air to me

I have been using this post office for many years and have never experienced anything but friendly, courteous help. It is a real pleasure to go there. Besides I am always amazed at their speed and efficiency even at holidays.

Im born & raised in brooklyn. Been to this post office since i was 13 now 31. Its always been slow and filled with little to no customer service. It hasnt changed in over 15 years then it wont change anytime soon. 0 stars.
