I just had my 2013 GMC Terrain in for routine service (oil change and inspection). During this time, I was told that I needed to have my engine air cleaner filter changed and have my passenger compartment air filter replaced as a part of GMC recommended maintenance on my auto. SHAME ON ME for not double checking their recommendations against the ACTUAL maintenance schedule for my GMC Terrain. However, SHAME ON THEM for recommending ROUTINE service that didnt need to happen. According to the GMC maintenance schedule for my auto, my engine air filter didnt need to be changed (as a part of routine maintenance) until I had owed the auto 4 years or hit 45K miles. I am at neither. I have had my Terrain only 3 years and am at 33,166 miles. That cost me $41.29. According to the same GMC maintenance schedule, the cabin air filter is due for replacement at 22,500 and 45K miles or every two years. I just had the cabin filter replaced in 2015. It was absolutely unnecessary for them to have told me that it was a part of my routine maintenance to have it changed ONE YEAR LATER and at only 33,166 miles. That cost me $45.71. I was charged an additional $87 in unnecessary service. I will not make that mistake again. You should be able to trust a certified dealership to provide you with the recommended service for your auto and feel confident that you are not getting incorrect information.

Dont go to the service department here they lie just to make money and i dont really appriciate that i was recently at this location and basically had been told i had two options get a used or new transmission cause it was soo bad they couldnt do anything else so i took it to a transmission shop and told me there was nothing wrong with it just needs minor repair and had it done within 30 mins of being there so thats gotta say something i hope you do go to those con artist at this place and get screwed like i almost did

I bought my 2012 Subaru Impreza from Matthews in February. Rob Finta was very helpful and addressed all of my concerns. i went back in June with additional questions and a concern about the airbag sensor turning off when there was a passenager in the seat. Rob and Mike Savage prompty addressed my concerns and fixed the problem within a week of my complaint. I am very satisfied with the service from Matthews and would recommend them to anyone.

Wonderful service, great prices, and very nice people. I live down state and the service at most car dealerships is awful. When I come upstate ( for school, go to Binghamton University), I use Mathews to service my vehicles. They have been very friendly and their prices are very reasonable. No gimmicky sales people, very clean and good looking facility, and great customer service. Highly reccomended.

My husband and I both have had opportunities to interact with the service department and I can say nothing but positive things about them.
