After driving 6 hours from Virginia alone with my two small children, I was told the vehicle I was purchasing was in great condition and that it had been checked out by a certified mechanic. Only 30 minutes into the drive, I called Joe letting him know there were several issues. The next several days, we discovered the vehicle was completely rusted on the undercarriage resulting in the need for new AC parts, an entirely new exhaust system, new whee bearings, new brakes, new axles, and front and rear differential replacements. Joe agreed to send $300 toward the thousands of dollars of repairs, but after a month of calling and texting, he always had an excuse as to why he "hasnt had time yet" to either send a check or Paypal us the funds. He eventually stopped returning all messages so here I am, leaving my first bad review for a small business-something I never do. We ended up trading in a car we paid $7000 for because the total in repairs was well over $7000. We were only given $1500 toward the purchase of a new car because of the terrible condition of the Lincoln Aviator Joe sold to us under false pretense. We are extremely disappointed in our experience with Auto 1, and in a small business that claims to take care of their customers. Buyer beware, and be sure to have any car you are considering purchasing checked out by a legitimate mechanic.

Wonderful car buying experience! I always get nervous going alone to buy a vehicle. Im not as knowledgeable and feel sometimes dealerships like to take advantage of that. However Eileen was amazing! Aside from making me feel extremely comfortable she was also very knowledgeable on all the vehicles she had on hand! Would absolutely recommend to friends! I read some negative reviews but they were over a year ago and I believe that management has since changed since when I went with my 4 young children, they were very accommodating and family oriented!

Zero stars if that were possible! BEWARE! Horrible horrible horrible! Took information including social security number and agreed to hold vehicle til close. Drove an hour and a half with a toddler to purchase the vehicle and they had just sold it. Very disappointed in this unethical practice. The owner couldnt even tell us in person... sent his wife out. Will never recommend! Beware of scammers!
