Do not go there! They do not know what they are doing. Based on the nice reviews I have read, I went there for a repair on my vehicle. It was a simple problem and I knew what was wrong with it. At that time (about 2 years ago), we just moved to Cary and not familiar with this area. So I went and they fixed the problem with a reasonable price and offered some warranty on it. I drove my car back and it was fine. The second day, my car was broken again with the exact same problem. They came to get my car and fixed it for free. The same thing happened and that time I had to get my vehicle towed there by myself. Whatever, they said they could fix it if I pay some more to replace a cable. It would cost about $350. I believed them and paid for it. However, the same problem happened again. I got my car towed to their store and they said it was my fault to get that happened because I did not drive my car properly. WTF! And they said that my transmission was broken and it would cost $2000 to fix it. You know what? I still believed what they said and started to call junk yards to get a used transmission. Fortunately, the guy at junk yard recommended a mechanic to do the replacement. I called him and he said that I just needed to replace the cable. He charged me $80 for the labor because I got the part by myself. My transmission was fine. After he installed the cable, I have driven over 30,000 miles and never had a problem. I will never go there again, and I will tell my friends and the people I know do not go there.

Cant say enough good things about CCC. They have been servicing our 3 cars for quite a while. We have entrusted them with normal maintenance, mundane tasks, and yes the more involved mainly on 1986 S10 Blazer. A lot of unusual problems pop up with a vehicle that old. They have done quite a lot of repairs, but on some that I have tried on my own, I have been able to call with questions or advice. They have extended themselves, switching appointment dates and even different cars on scheduled appointments. If you have something unexpected come up, an emergency for example, they will do their best to work you in or offer alternatives until they can get you in. I have utmost confidence in their diagnostic and repair skills. All mechanics are ASE certified and current on their registration. From the time you walk in and are cheerfully greater till you leave with your repaired vehicle, you can feel you have been taken care of in a competent professional manner. They are a local family owned business who care about customers who select them for service. They are competitively priced and work to build a relationship with each and every customer. I trust mine and my families vehicle safety to CCC and would have no problem recommending them to anyone. By the way, BJ and Kelcey are doing a good job transitioning to 2nd generation owners. I would not hesitate going to CCC for any vehicular need. I trust them and feel you could too. Jim Freeman

Based on all the reviews I saw on the web, I went to this place. But my personal experience was so unlike everyone on this forum. My car was problems over a month and I replaced things over many auto shops and when it finally didnt work, I searched the net and went to this guy. First of all to schedule an appointment he took 3 days..I waited for 3 days and towed my car to his place..I told him about the problems I had in the past and coughed close to $600 on my car earlier. He seemed fine to talk to initially..Couple of hours later he came with a quote of $2000 which seemed so exorbitant to me..It seemed to me that he was taking advantage of my situation as I had already told him all my problems..It was a shocker for me..I immediately found out about some other car care centers and got a quote from them on the phone..One of them said the work can be done within $1200, another one said it can be done $600 to $800. I searched all over the net and I found that the work can be done by a max of $1000. Which clearly meant that this guy was trying to swindle me.. When I tried to tow my car away from his workshop, he created a big fuss about it and gave me a lecture about their service..Hell! ill never go back to this shop which is doing day-time robbery. He might treat existing custoemrs well, but new users go with a pinch of salt...

Ive been going to CCC for quite a number of years but the last experiences I had made me think I may never return. I had an old carbureted truck that was having staringt and cutting out problems. It was a 20+ year old truck and I was moving overseas and dindnt want to spend alot on it but the diagnosis and work by CCC were shoddy and well below par to say the least. I had the truck towed to CCC once but when they said it was ready I went to pick the vehicle up on their lot and it wouldnt start! They had to come out and push start it! Told me to keep at least 1/2 tank of gas in it!? (did not help) I had it in the shop one more time and they basically did nothing - removed the tank and fixed a "check valve" but missed a leaking fuel line which may have been the source of all my problems. I gave the truck to my handyman when I left for overseas; he replaced a leaky fuel hose and said hes had no problems with the truck staring since then. As a result of these fiascos I have lost almost all my confidence in this shop. Caveat emptor - let the buyer beware!

So my AC compressor seized up on me, and I googled various garages near my house where it broke down and found that Cary Car Care had good reviews. So, I drove it there to get checked out and get a repair estimate. It came to about $975. I called around the area for more quotes, most of them just giving me a high verbal estimates anywhere between $800-1100. Last one I called didnt give me a verbal estimate, and insisted on taking the time to call suppliers and draw up a real quote. It came to about $500. And that was for the same work and parts from the compressor, to the accumulator and orifice tube, labor, etc. Dont get me wrong, they were very friendly and nice, but my wifes parents run a garage out of town and they called the $975 a ripoff. They quoted me at $500-550. I dont want to appear to be shilling for a particular garage, but if you call around literally within a mile of Cary Car Care, I can pretty much guarantee youll find a better price. Good luck!

I choose this repair center based on the other reviews. Glad I did. I have an older car that really wants to get to 200,000 miles and beyond. I took it to them so that they could drive it and assess what they would do in order to tighten it up so that it will make it to that mark. The mechanic who drove it was INCREDIBLY detailed. He spotted the things that I knew were wrong plus very small things like "Your exhaust pipe was pushed in a few inches" and "there was a loose bolt on your alternator". He obviously went through the car with a fine tooth comb. They presented me with all of the things they found and suggested repairs for some and holding off for another time for others. Very honest and trustworthy people. Wait... were still talking about mechanics - right? Yes, indeed we are! Not only am I coming back but my girlfriend and brother are going there as well. Who cares how far it is, its my car and they care about it. ;-)
