These are rip off artists. I ordered a nice set of tires, then got multiple phone calls trying to convince me the rear breaks needed replacing, were a "safety issue", etc. Desperately trying to upsell me. Needed a steering alignment as well. They wouldnt take a "No" for an answer. They left several messages, then when my wife told them "No", they called me. To be sure someone really understood the seriousness of the problem. Ive never lost my temper with a car place in my life, but I did with these jerks. Ill never do business there again. To add insult to injury, I went to replace the rear breaks a few weeks later, and found them fine. The shop did miss a major problem... a leaking axle. Which tells me they didnt even ~look~ at the brakes. They just told us we needed new ones to bring in a bit more cash. I wouldnt trust them with an oil change.

I took my car to get help with my AC that was blowing cold air and then warm air. The first repair was an evac and recharge and when I left I noticed my problem was still not resolved. I took my car back a second time and this time I was told I needed valves. I threw more money out the window and when driving home, the warm air came out of the AC again. I called back to explain my problem was still not fixed and I was asked to come back on Monday for a master technician to look at my car. I decided I did not have any more time for these errors so I took my car to a Honda specialist. They solved the issue and the problem was with the compressor clutch in the AC. All is working now so I do not recommend going to Firestone unless you want basic work like an oil change or tire rotation. I will not be back.

Asked price for an alignment. "$85" they said. I said OK. They then handed me the bill. It included an additional item of $5.10 called "Shop Supplies". There are not shop supplies needed for an alignment. This was, in fact, before the work began so I could have left without having my car serviced. But I had already had my day planned and wasnt going to change. When I came back to pick up the car after work was done, I complained at that time. They said that they charge 6% for shop supplies regardless of the type of work they do. I dont believe Ill be going back there again. No obvious issues with the alignment. My 1 star rating is due to the false advertisement of price.

Really bad customer service. I love Firestone and visited this location because its close but the managers there are no good. I was told it would take 2 hrs to get things ready so I showed up in 2 hrs but they had not even started work on my car. I then was told 30 min wait by one manager but after an hour of additional when I questioned him again he punted to the other manager who said it will take an extra hr. I dont mind waiting but tell me 5 hrs and I can plan for it. Its ridiculous to constantly extend the wait period when I had scheduled my visit. The managers response was lame. I should charge this location for my time. I will not visit this location ever again.

BEWARE...I really doubt this place has the expertise to do any complicated repairs. A few days back, I had to take my van in because the transmission fluid was leaking. I was informed that I need a completely new transmission which would cost $3700 (which was significantly high for a transmission job on this van to begin with). I took the van in to another local mechanic shop for a second opinion and it turned out that there was nothing wrong with the tranmission. The wires that circulate the transmission fluid were damaged. It took $600 to perform the repair. I will not be taking my vehicle and would not recommend this place to anyone.

Ripoff :: $700 for replacing a starter. Yeah right !! They know how to loot you. I checked online the price of the starter is $130-$160 max. They charged $400 for the starter. Due to circumstances I had to go for it since I have only one car. The manager was not friendly when asked why so high a price he is like if you dont like we will back out your car and you can take it back. WTF ?? I will never recommend anyone to this place. I dont trust Firestone any more. Lesson learnt - I will never go to Firestone again unless they are honest about the prices,

Not sure why all the negative reviews. I just took my car here today to have a tire replaced. They were very polite, knowledgeable, and reasonable. As I was waiting I noticed many people who came in requesting things for their vehicles. The staff was polite to them as well. It seems some of the requests were a bit unreasonable on the part of customers. Maybe thats why so many negative reviews? At any rate, my experience was a great one and I wouldnt hesitate taking my car back to them.

I replaced 4 tires over there and I was satisfied with the job they done. The car drives more stable with news tires and alignment. But one thing I would you be aware of is they seem want to upsell some additional services and may be not happy if you said no. They suggested me to replace the battery and air filter as well with the tires but later on during an oil change at another store, the battery was said at good porformance and the air filter is not necessarily to be replaced.

I had a good experience with this shop, I had my brakes replaced, My recommendation for anyone getting work done is know your car, give details to accurately diagnose your issues and make them show you what they are talking about if they say a product needs replaced. Research online so you can get an idea of what to expect, I went in told them what I wanted done left no room for negotiations and the work was done before the original quoted time. I would use these guys again.

Mike (borrowed from High House Cary location) was friendly, professional, and clearly service oriented! Even deducted $15 coupon left over from last month. I bought my tires at location on New Bern & told had to return for tire rotation every 5k miles for warranty. A young mechanic didnt seat oil filter correctly and cost me a lot before i realized. Mike redeemed my faith in Firestone! I will def return - thanks Mike!

Went in for a state inspection. They failed my car because of a "cracked" power steering belt, which they offered to fix for a mere $200 (took me $9 and half hour in my garage). When I took the belt off and showed it to my mechanic he said it looked almost new. They also tried to hit me with $1500 worth of work I do not need. Very crooked crowd looking to make a commission, highly advise against using this location.

I am really disappointed with them and quality and response. Rear Rotor was replaced 2 months ago, was of poor quality and now, I feel pulsation and vibration now so they asking me to replace front rotors also without fixing this actual cause. Rear brakes are not working fine. It is better to pay more but I decided to take service from Authorize dealers only. I make a mistake visiting them.
