Ive taken clothes here for almost 6 months and Ive decided to not go there anymore. I have a few expensive dress shirts that require a little extra attention. They have broken all the buttons on a couple of them due to high heat pressing that should not have been done. I had a stretch for about 2 months were these shirts would come back with what appeared to be starch spots on them. Most came out, but regardless they looked bad. One of my shirts, the bottom cuff button came off on both and they replaced them with a different button and completely different colored thread. Overall, very dissatisfied. I would not recommend unless you dont care about your clothes.

Their posted hours state a closing time of 7pm. I arrived just before 7pm and the door was locked. I checked my blackberry to verify my watch was not fast and waved to the lady who was just inside at the counter. She looked at me, shook her head "no" and went to the back of the store, out of sight. Wow, they must value their customers to close early and make a customer come twice to pick up. There are plenty of other dry cleaners and it is easy to switch, so I will.

Im writing this primarily because Im puzzled at the negative reviews. Simply…every employee Ive encountered there over the past few years has been courteous and pleasant. I take dry-cleaning there…never something wrong…they email when the stuffs ready and Ive used the larger machines for washing quilts. Again…no problems. Sure…Id love to be able to get cappuccino served by scantily-dressed attendants but…its dry cleaning, right?

We are very disappointed with White Star. Location is the only favorable thing about this dry cleaners. They have damaged several of our clothes and laundered them when they should have been dry cleaned! We are tired of giving them chances to improve or remedy a situation. We are no longer going to take our clothes there and you should all look somewhere else for your dry cleaning needs too!!!

These people dont care about serving the community. The place is always dirty, the washrooms never have soap or towels, and the machines are always broken. Tonight I arrived to do laundry at 7:47 and the attendant wouldnt let me wash even though it says "Last Wash at 8:00pm" on the front window.

Unfriendly staff. It was my first time here and I asked for my dollar back in a machine I never used. I was going to pay in full at a different machine. Well they refused to give me my dollar back. Lost my business and Ill let others know what happened

White Star on Ninth has been handling my dry cleaning for more than 30 years. I have never once been disappointed. The employees Ive met have always been kind and courteous, and they do a great job!

Ive been a customer of the dry-cleaning side for years, but wont ever go back after tonight. The posted hours seem to be meaningless to the staff, who like to close early.

Bought a suit and took it to them after my first wear. They destroyed the suit. Altered the color and burned it. 600 dollar suit from Jcrew destroyed. Thanks Alot!

I came to this establishment and I was not aware that the establishment closed at 8pm. If you are going to close at 8pm ADVERTISE 8pm not 9pm.

Cheap and good quality machines. Highly recommend! But they should add more seating in the place
