Im from out of town and run a small business on my own. Ive had to visit this post office several times as my dad just retired to Leland, and Ive brought my work with me when he moved and the times Ive visited since. This post office is AWFUL. Every time Ive gone in, I have pre-printed labels on my packages (since my dad did not have a working printer when moving/still hadnt unpacked it), but no Scan form since those are only valid when you are dropping off the same day you printed and I did advance labels. One time I walked in at 4:22 - the metal doors were CLOSED (not locked), so I pulled it back open and was immediately greeted with "This better be quick." Well, it wasnt quick thanks to the young woman grumbling and complaining the entire time she scanned my packages in. I dont know why they close at 4:30, but that is not even what I have a problem with. The attitude Ive gotten every time I went (I think 4 times total) was really just unbearable. I hate that I have to go there when I visit my dad, and am considering driving to a Wilmington post office next time I visit.

As a USPS customer living on Old Mill Road; easily the worst addressed and set up road in Leland, there are times when mail and packages are delivered to the wrong customer. With the way our addresses and boxes are set up, anyone can see how our road is no less than a challenge to any Mail Carrier! This exact thing happened yesterday, and I am here to let it be known that our local Post Office Attendant Lori McGowan, and our Local Delivery Person, Tracie Lanier, went above and beyond what I would ever have expected, in order to recover my package. My package was mistakenly delivered to a neighbor, and with Ms. McGowans help, Ms. Lanier left her route to backtrack out of her way to successfully retrieve my package and deliver it to me. For me, I also have had a negative experience with this post office. Mostly due to the customer service I have received while being check out. I have talked to the management twice because I was mistreated by the ladies working the front. Management was very nice and I do have to say that there are two women working the front who are also very nice and helpful. However, the majority of the people working the service desk act as if they either hate working there or just hate people in general. I am not a people who wants to give a business a negative review, but almost every time I go to this post office the women working there are very rude to me. As a result, I no longer go to this post office as I have discovered that ACE Hardware in Leland has a post office located inside their store. Here the customer service is great and the people working there are happy.

Most unprofessional staff Ive ever seen. Cannot follow simple instructions. Warning to all: If you want your mail forwarded to a PO Box (that you pay MONEY for), your mail will never show up there. Also, I moved 4 months ago..asked them to forward my mail that was sent to the old house to the PO box I rented until renovations were done...went to get all the mail a month later and there was no mail there. I told them to just send it all to the new house...I have been going by the old house once a week to pick up my mail from the new owner every week. They still...4 months later...have not stopped sending my mail to my old address. And every time Ive gone in there the employees are very disrespectful and unhelpful.

Always lost packages and mail. Whoever delivers the mail in my area off chapel loop road in those housing additions is a freaking retard! You have one job to do, and you cant even manage that! You cant even resolve anything when you go to the post office either, their just a bunch of inbred idiots that think working at a postal service is a success. I cant wait till everything goes digital and they put these idiots out of a job! Less retards running around with our personal belongings. Until then, I will take things into my own hands and find out whose supposed to be delivering my stuff...i will make this personal now!!

As many have said before me, horrible customer service. Ive had to deal with the same woman twice now and each time she has been down right rude to me. They will not deliver my packages anymore, saying how my road is impassable yet twice Ive caught the mail lady half way up the road delivering to other homes on my road. This has been going on since July. Just getting down right tired of this post office. It needs some changes big time! Starting with getting rid of the staff there now and getting new people who actually care.

This post office is horrible! I dont know who their carrier has been the last few weeks but on 2 occasions I got all of my neighbors mail, my box wasnt closed and we are expecting rain and they never took the outgoing mail and also left the flag up. What in the world is going on at this Post office? I cant even get through the busy signals after 10 separate attempts to file a complaint on the carrier! Very poor customer service, and I will be contacting the Post master Generals office!!

I own reptiles so I have to buy worms by the bulk. My mail lady never drops the box off, puts the notice in my box 2 DAY LATER, then my worms get out because theyre there all weekend. But if I dont get a notice durring the week I get my butt chewed by them because I dont have the slip. The only way I know when its has been "attempted to deliver" is my notifications from the seller. So in closing...my mail lady sucks. I cant believe my tax money goes towards their paycheck.

They lose your mail . I had a tablet delivered to me only to find it folded in half in my mailbox and now because I said something I have to drive to post office to receive any packages unless they have lost them .The people there are very rude and all have attitude problems.You would think that something would of been done by now but 13 years later its still the same old rude people another reason Im moving from Leland

The staff is always lovely and have always done their best to help me even though the apartment complex I lived in started sending my mail back for an unsure reason, they held it all for me anyway because they know how important some packages can be to get on time... It could possibly be life threatening. Thanks again to all yall working there :)

On 5 different occasions they have failed to deliver my package while I was home. Ive had to pick up every package from their office and the peoole working the counter are always rude. UPS on the other hand have always delivered my package on time no matter what the conditions were, and have great customer service. Id suggest using UPS!

I called on a saturday at 11:50 and the post office closes at 12pm which I didnt know. The gentleman I was talking to about a item that was there took it upon himself to deliver this item to me all the way across leland.This is what and how a business should be ran.. 5 star customer service..
