Make the post office great again, this location SUCKS. This has been my PO for over 5 years . The old staff was awesome and have since moved on. The new staff is horrible. There has been issue after issue after issue with this post office; Mail fraud by marking packages as delivered when they have not been, holding packages for pick up that do no require a signature and therefore delaying delivery by 2 days over the weekend, not leaving notices for packages that require signatures (you better keep your tracking info), delivering to my PO Box (That I PAY them for) LATE when delivery is supposed to be made by 10:30 am and just misplacing and mishandling packages in general. This is now a weekly occurrence. It happens so often that I have begun documenting. You should too, just in case. The people that work the counter are pretty great, though they look miserable most of the time (no wonder they go "postal"), and are often are able to find the missing packages though it is a HUGE inconvenience for me (surely for them too) and a long wait. They surely get the short end of the stick by dealing with these mistakes. At least they dont make excuses, they actually laugh at the stupidity of the other staff. The people working behind the scenes have NO CLUE what they are doing! And the Postmaster (who has changed several times recently) will completely ignore requests to speak to customers. Once I was left waiting so long that I finally just left. Im sure thats what he was hoping for. He is used to the screw ups and will shrug at you and make excuses about how they are short staffed. Ive heard the staff snicker and make snide comments about the customers trying to locate their mail. Then close this place down if you cannot perform the services that you are PAID to perform! Several times while standing in line I have overheard several other customers having the exact same issues. Do NOT ignore these reviews. Use another PO location if you can. Mail fraud and negligence is unacceptable and I am currently researching ways to file complaint (other than just complaining to USPS which gets you nowhere) and have heard others speak of starting class action lawsuits. It is NOT okay to mishandle property with such a blatant disregard for the money customers spend. I spend on average about $400-$600 on USPS shipping services PER MONTH. They need to be held accountable. These people are paid VERY well (and steadily getting big news worthy raises as of 9/2017), in most instances more than our nurses, police officers and teachers that save our lives-and USPS should be acting professionally. There was a time where it was rumored that USPS was in trouble financially and there was talk about being shut completely down. They should behave as if that could become a reality if they continue to illegally handle our mail. They just pretty much act like they dont care and behave as if you cannot do anything about it. That is certainly not true!

This post office services our Deer Crossing development. Our development has only gang mailboxes. One of these boxes is assigned to each home in the development. We have lived in this location since 2011 and have had major mail delivery problems since day#1! Mail is constantly delivered to the WRONG address on am almost daily business. Despite effort and continuous complaining to the Myrtle Grove Post Office (the location responsible for our mail delivery), we continue to have mail miss delivered to the wrong address all the time. We all get each others mail on a weekly basis. The Post office management has be unable to correct the problems despite complaints for over 4 years. They are the most inefficient, poorly managed post offices. We watch postal carriers literally THROW boxes on our stoops. cram packages in our tiny mail boxes (like medium size bank security boxes) and miss deliver packages all the time. I guess matching the street addresses on the mail to the address on our home or mail boxes is too difficult a task. The US Post office now wonders why people are no longer using the post office and using UPS and other mail couriers. The post is unable to correctly deliver mail. The workers do not care either. They never answer their phone and when you complain in person, they also do not care. This post office staff and / or the lack of training of the carriers and people who work there is evident. If the management does not care why should the workers. When we talk to postal carriers, they say they are treated like _____ . My wife and I try to NEVER use the services of the post office since they have proven, and continue to prove, they are NOT able to perform the one mail service they are supposed to do....deliver mail. Mail, when it is delivered, it late and usually delivered to the wrong address. I wish I could rate this post office ZERO stars but I cant!

I would give 1 star... but at least I normally get mail. I ordered a package. It was a time critical package. Because USPS decided it was a high value item they required a signature. When I ordered it from Amazon, I specifically stated to NOT require a signature. The item was delivered Saturday May 20, 2017...at least it would have been. But because I was not home during delivery they took it away. I got online as soon as I got home Saturday and requested Re-delivery of the package for Monday May 22, 2017. I didnt leave my house, wasted an entire day waiting for the package that I could have already had. Not only did no one come with my package, I didnt even see a USPS bring mail. I checked my tracking for the package and it was never updated from when they had it "out for delivery" on May 20. Tuesday and Wednesday (22, 23rd) no package and tracking still not updated. No note or any idea where the package is. I drive to this location and tell the manager I need my package. He turns to a shelf basically right behind the counter and grabs it and hands it to me. Are you kidding me!? I ask him why it wasnt delivered.."they probably didnt get the Re-delivery request in time"....I submitted it Saturday night. How is that not in time? Does that excuse them for not even trying to deliver it Tuesday or Wednesday? No updated tracking to at least say it was at the post office. Management needs to re-evaluate how things are handled at this office.

This post office has immensely screwed up on numerous occasions. Ill list the problems I remember off the top of my head. They stuffed a hard cover book into my mail box so hard the book was destroyed, thos was supposed to be for my moms birthday and I had to order another one. They delivered a microphone I ordered to a different house on a completely different street, I only found out because I had a package that was meant for the house they brought my microphone too. They brought a computer part I ordered to my house but then brought it back to the post office for an invalid address. I could not address the computer part issue due to work, but it was delivered the next day. And my significant others anniversary present could not be delivered because they didnt have access to the delivery location. I am not in a gated community and there is no fence or gate blocking the front or side door of my house. I am nearly at the point of trying to petition the government to do something about this, as these are only the problems I can remember and they have been happening for YEARS.
