A rep from the company discussed my move on the initial call, gave me a from quote, and followed it up in writing. He called back to confirm our understanding. He called a week prior to the move to ask if there were any changes, there were, and he documented them. He called the day prior to the move to confirm the date and time.The day of the move, the movers called to confirm they would arrive not only on time, but a bit early !). The movers, Jamil and Stewart, reviewed the items to be moved, reviewed the inventory sheet prior to the move, and compared it with what was actually moved. They were able to adjust the invoice on the spot - I had removed some items from the inventory that I had moved myself, but I had grossly underestimated the number of boxes they had to move. In the end, the price didnt change by more than a couple of dollars, and we agreed on the change. I was provided with a detailed inventory of what was moved, a revised invoice at the close of the move, and the supporting documentation. Jamil and Stewart are THE BEST! They were personable, polite, and presentable. They are very professional. They verified which items and boxes were especially fragile and took very good care of everything they moved. Our move involved splitting the items up for delivery to two different locations. They expeditiously separated the items and delivered them to the correct locations. They disassembled my bed and rebuilt it in the exact spot in my new room. They did a final walk-through of each location to make sure everything was placed correctly.I appreciate this excellent level of customer service! I hired Little Guys Movers for a straightforward 2 bedroom apartment move. Their quote was lower than the 6 other quotes that I received, but I would have chosen them even if they were on the high side. This is a company that has it all together. When you call in, their agents are trained to handle your call professionally. They dont stutter and act like this is their first time taking a quote. They know exactly what to do and can build you a precise quote that they stand behind within minutes. Then they follow up the call with an email, and then with professional follow up calls until you have made your decision. Most other companies will write something down on a piece of paper, say they need to talk to their boss, maybe even require coming on site to your location to give you a quote. They do their pricing based on each item that they move. Want to move the boxes yourself? Fine, they just remove them from the bill. This ensures that your price is accurate and I felt their pricing was very reasonable. They ended up sending 3 guys and a big truck so they knocked out my job quickly. The young men were very pleasant to talk to, no smoke smell, no profanity, and all very strong. I was lucky to get Will, Kenny, and AJ. At the end of my move I asked if they could move a heavy piece of furniture in my bedroom. This of course had an itemized cost but was not pre-arranged. It took all 3 of them but they were able to move it which was a big help to me. I wanted to leave a detailed positive review because I feel it is well deserved. I would not hesitate to recommend Little Guys Movers to anyone and hope you have the same great experience that I did.

This will be my 4th time using Little Guys Movers. Its been a year of needing to change locations due to long commutes to work, traffic within the Triangle, and moving to sister properties for my current job. So, when I called on them the first time, over a year ago, I was truly impressed with their professionalism and personable approach to assisting customers. After friends also witnessed their work during my move, they also called Little Guys for 2 of their family moves. This company is truly worth every penny for a local relocation, with a caring approach to their companys values and top notch care of personal belongings during every move. They make every attempt to stay within their time frame, and during one move I needed them to return the next day because I underestimated the amount of items needing to be moved. They made it happen even when it was a totally unexpected need. They even kept a record of my last move so I wouldnt underestimate my amount of boxes, and was so impressed with Erics patience even after looking at other companies, when I called back to confirm dates. I didnt want to go with anyone else but Little Guys and truly am a huge supporter of their team. Thanks Little Guys!

Good Book

I used Little Guys Movers Raleigh to pack my sons Raleigh apartment and move his things several hours away to a storage unit. My inquiries about moving and charges were always answered in a timely, pleasant manner, either by phone or email, and the on-site estimate was fair and the price extremely reasonable. It was a hot, humid July day when my son moved but the crew of 3 (Frank, Jake, and Alex) arrived on time and worked efficiently, tirelessly, and with a smile, to pack my sons belongings and load the truck. My cheerful movers were meticulous with wrapping and packing the kitchen contents and other valuables and everything has since been unpacked and found to be in excellent condition. The heavy sleeper sofa that we had struggled with 3 years earlier gave them no trouble and they maneuvered it out the door and up the steps with ease. The movers unloaded my sons apartment contents at a storage unit and packed it smartly so clothing and other necessities could be accessed if necessary. All in all, my experience with Little Guys Movers Raleigh was a pleasure and they managed to eliminate the dread we had of moving! Use them and you can relax as well----your move will be in good hands!

When I was looking for someone to move us, Little Guys was the first to respond and really had it all together. They asked a lot of questions about what needed to be moved in order to be thorough and give the best estimate. Our belongings had been in storage for 8 weeks and they had to depend on the inventory list that we had been given by a different moving company. Also, they were the only company that wasnt going to make us wait 30 days to move our things. This was important because we had already closed on our house and were anxious to stop paying for a very large storage unit. I really liked that they kept in touch with us prior to the move by calling the week before and the day before. The movers showed up on time and worked quickly on a very hot and humid day. We had a lot of heavy boxes that were filled with books that needed to be carried to the second floor of the house. We also had some problems with the AC in the house on the day of the move, but they did not complain and did not slow down. They were able to complete the move in less time than originally estimated which saved us money. During the entire process they were courteous and professional. I would highly recommend them.
