I do not recommend them. We used Student Moving Services in June 2011 to pack a truck that we would drive across the country. The two guys who showed up seemed nice and worked quickly. I was happy with them at the time. That night, I discovered a large dent in the wall near the stairs and missing paint that they created and never mentioned. Then, when we arrived in town, the movers at the end of the move informed us that our truck was packed inappropriately. We were present as our things were pulled out of the truck so we know these new movers did not cause the damage. Our wood furniture took a huge hit. Tons of dents, scratches, it had ruined a table. The movers explained what they (Student Moving Services) could have done differently to prevent it. I called Student Moving Services and they were very defensive and claimed that the damage was probably due to the way we drove the truck. All I know is I was very dissatisfied with them and I would recommend using another service in town.

I recently moved to NC and used Student Services. We hear so many horror stories. I experienced none of them. The pricing was exactly as promised and one of the lower bids compared to three others. Everyone arrived on time and were hardworking. My two movers were Matt and Kyle Henderson. They were amazing. Very careful with my things. Loading and unloading was so fast. Absolutely nothing was damaged in any way. They were awesome placing my furniture and making sure I was satisfied. It was a pleasure working with your company!

In November 2016, I retained Student Services to move my belongings from Virginia to Connecticut. The firms representative, Thomas Harris, was polite, knowledgeable, and professional. He planned all of the steps to perfectly accommodate my schedule. The moving crew, led by Cassidy, was also polite and professional, and skilled in the work. The men did an excellent job packing, loading, and unloading all of my items. I highly recommend the firm.

I used these guys once and it was awful. The movers were so slow and were borderline rude. And their price was highest in town so I really thought I would get good service. NOT EVEN CLOSE. My irreplaceable ceramic statues that are family heirlooms both got chipped despite being wrapped up. They were just blatantly careless. I couldnt believe it. Stay far far away from these guys.

My wife and I had a great experience with Student Services. Ive moved 7 times in my adult life and had come to expect damage to my home and furniture as just "part of the game". In this case, I can honestly say that the 2 friendly, efficient men that moved us were careful with our belongings and my house was no worse for the move. I will definitely use Student services for move #8!

The online quote system was very easy to use and the reservation staff stayed in contact with us about our reservation progress throughout the process.
