My experience with Rapid was 100% positive from the very beginning. Samantha hooked me up with Ken, who came to my huge mess of an apartment & gave me a very professional estimate. He felt it would take about 4 hours, but hedged his bets by estimating a high of 6 hours. This was because I was moving into a 6th floor apt & he couldnt be sure he would have unfettered access to the elevators. While this concerned me, I could certainly understand it. Rapid was the ONLY company that sent a man to my home to actually see what I had . The others that I called gave me a quickie estimate over the phone...I just didnt feel comfortable with that approach. So after much consideration, I gave the job to Rapid. Even Samantha was a pleasure to deal with. She was understanding & calming when I called a few times with concerns & questions prior to the move. Moving day began when Bob & his crew (3 total) arrived 45 minutes late (which was fine as I really needed the extra time). Bob was very clear about when the clock started on the $150 per hour job (after I signed the paperwork) and they got straight to work. In 75 minutes the truck was loaded & we were on our way to the new place. We had a bit of trouble getting the elevator key to work & time was being wasted until that was resolved (not Rapids fault). I was nervous...I only had $900 (the 6 hour estimate) and really needed to keep the cost down, as I am disabled & on a VERY limited income. But soon things started running smoothly and within 3 hours, 45 minutes everything was in place. This was UNDER the 4 hour low estimate & I was thrilled. Rapid has a 4 hour minimum charge & I was very happy to pay it. I would recommend this crew to everyone that needs help moving. There was NEVER even a suggestion of hidden charges or any of those nightmares that some people describe when moving . They made what could have been a very stressful & costly day into one that was full of smiles.

The crew arrived on time, were very organized, pleasant, respectful, and efficient. There was pleasant conversation amongst them, a reassuring presence in our home. They had a fabulous patient attitude moving all the items into the new home as we were swiftly tried to make decisions about where furniture items were going to be placed. They took very good care to wrap our furniture, took extra precautions with fragile items and each helped the other toward the jobs completion. I highly recommend!

Will, Seth and their team did a great job with our move May 5th. Crew was very careful not to damage anything and helpful with some extra requests. Friendley group that did not place down anything unless they knew where it would go. Would call them for any future moving needs.
