Should be zero stars. We reserved a POD for an upcoming cross country move. 3 days before our pod was scheduled to be delivered the order was canceled because a review of our driveway on google street view (really scientific) revealed that it would be too narrow to accommodate the container. We were not asked to measure the width of our driveway. We were not provided with an opportunity to figure something else out For example- we could have applied for a street permit from the city. Our neighbor across the street has a parking lot that we could have used, etc. Instead the order was just abruptly canceled. Now we need to figure out how to move our family across the country next week. When I pointed this out I was told that PODS was actually doing us a favor by not bringing the container out and thereby saving us 100 bucks. Im pretty sure that blaming a slighted customer is not part of customer service 101 class. UPDATE: I have no reason to assist PODS further in working this out. I filed a formal complaint with PODS so all my information is well known to customer service. We were able to pull something together at the last second but the past few days have been less than ideal. We were organized and ready to go, but our move has turned into a chaotic mess. And, just for kicks I measured the clearance of our driveway and it came in at 12 feet 10 inches (I was informed that 12 feet of clearance was needed). So, even disregarding a street permit or parking the unit across the street in a formal parking lot, PODS canceled a 3000 dollar move for nothing. I will never use PODS and have told everybody that I know about this incident. This is the first internet review that I have ever left, so Im not some internet troll or easily disgruntled customer. This has been a nightmare for me and my family.

Using PODS Moving and Storage containers for our baseball league needs has worked out really well. The units themselves provide an excellent storage site at each of our training locations. The local representative is fantastic to work with for ordering and placing the units. He is extremely responsive. Why didnt I rate PODS with 5 stars? The ordering process on the website is extremely clumsy. It is not easy to describe where on the property you want the storage unit placed nor the orientation of the door. They messed this up just this year because they forced me to order on line as opposed to using my Rep. He never got it wrong. The invoicing group is also challenged so I often struggle with getting invoiced correctly. If PODS can clean up the Administrative functions without loosing the personal detail/attention that a Rep provides, theyll get my 5 star endorsement.

Very positive experience- someone moved the cones that I had set to allot the space needed for them to get into my driveway so it was a difficult one, but their man Andy worked like a pro and got it done faster than fast despite the difficulty! Whew, skilled work! Everyone was timely as well, and when my plans changed, they adjusted to what I needed with no problems or fuss! Definitely would recommend

It was important to me to have a storage container at a specific time. They delivered the storage container when they promised. I needed it to be place in my yard and they were able to do this with very minimal damage to my yard. Pick up took a few days after requesting but I am very happy and will use them again if I need temporary storage again.

They got the dates of our move wrong, and then demanded rent for an extra month we didnt want. They sent threatening calls and tried to bully is into paying more. We had them open an investigation, but wont tell us anything. The people on the phone are rude and condescending. Never ever use this joke of a company.
