the metro self storage unit on buffalo road has the attitude that they fill up all their units and therefore do not need to treat people kindly nor fairly. They make a horrible first impression there with no 24 hour gate, a secretary at the desk way up the stairs after she buzzes you in and acts flustered, tells you she has too much going on when she makes verbal blunders and there are... VERY STRICT rules including coming and going at their short lived, limited hours, ie, sat is only 9-noon..dont know about you but I need to get into my storage unit after 5 during the week and well after noon on Saturdays. The General Manager met me on my first day to unlock my unit that I put money down on and asked him why there was a padlock on it to which he replied, "we have our and you put yours on". Well I dont need nor want want of their esp. after he tells me I gotta call them everytime I want to come into my unit. I am out of college, dont answer to my parents anymore and Im not gonna start now. If I pay a hefty monthly fee each month for a unit along with a security deposit to match, I wish to come and go as I please. This general manager couldnt even get the door open to which I replied, I think I will pass on this..its all not going well, to which he replied, Why? Were only doing whats best for you" never saying he was sorry to the door that didnt open, etc. He kept rambling on and I told him, youre okay and Im okay, to which he replied, "yeah, whatever." Burnout perhaps or just plain rudeness? He was well dressed and had gold on so that tell you that he just takes his peoples money and doesnt give a crap about them. Very rude man and I would not refer anyone to this place if you like a nice pleasant family feeling atmosphere with people who have your best interests at heart.

I just wanted to send a belated "Thank You" to your company and staff for making my parents move so effortless. My parents decided to move out of their long time home, and they were very worried about making sure their possessions were well taken care of as they were transported to the new location. I was concerned about how long it would take because my parents had a long day ahead of them. Al and Joe arrived promptly and were very courteous. They were so patient with my dad (he had just woken up and wasnt ready for the bedroom furniture to be moved) and mom (who was tending to dad) and with me (as I nervously fluttered around the house). They packed everything very carefully and the contents arrived and were unpacked with no damage. I also appreciated the call to find out how the move went later in the day. I felt as if it added a caring touch to an emotional experience. We also received a slight refund in the price because we had less boxes than expected. That was good for the budget as well!

Clark Moving company (affiliated with MayFower) was efficient and they cared about customers valuable belongings. They built a crate to protect a glass top console table made in Denmark for me because I would not be able to find a replacement if it was damaged. The table arrived in perfect shape along with the rest of fragile furniture and items. On top of that, their co-ordinator Jackie kept me informed of all status updates from Rocheste, NY all the way to California. During the shipping across US, I was confident of shipment were watched carefully by Clark Moving company. I was very pleased with service and skillful wrapping from Clarks moving crews. Clark Moving Company is highly recommend to the folks in east coast and beyond.

Mayflower loaded our belongings on August 29, with a contract delivery date between September 3 and September 9. On Friday, the 6th, we were told by Lori that they had a driver who would load our belongings on the 7th and start his deliveries and she would confirm with us on Monday. We called her to confirm on Monday (today) and she said she would call us back. We have not heard from her, so we called Mayflower headquarters who informed us a driver was not even scheduled until this coming Thursday, with no indication of our expected delivery. We are very frustrated.

Today we moved an 87 year old gentleman from his home of many years, to senior independent living community at Chapel Oaks, Rochester, NY We had two outstanding young men by the name of Joe Caccamise and Jake Trieste do all the heavy lifting, pushing pulling and hauling on a hot and at times stormy day. They were respectful and always mindful of the senior in our presence. I highly recommend and commend the efforts of these wonderful employees. Thank you for a job well done!!!! Please let them know how much we appreciated all their hard work.

Weve had nothing but great experiences with Clark / Mayflower. We have product in several locations thats constantly on the move or in storage and you cant beat the service, experience and pricing that Clark Moving and Storage offers. Logistics are much smoother when doing trade shows now. No matter where youre located they certainly make it a breeze doing business with them. Our headquarters is in Texas and weve never had any issues moving or storing our goods with Clark Moving / Mayflower.

If i could give them zero stars i would, i just contacted these guys to do an estimate the woman on the phone was so rude i just ended the conversation. In addition they could not have someone out to do an estimate for over 10 days. As i had further questions the woman on the phone clearly had no interest in helping or answering any of my questions with her arrogant, condescending attitude. Congratulations on losing my business.

Sales team were extremely helpful especially since I was having to make changes frequently to the move date due to outside factors. Overestimated by over 1.5 tons - verbally said it would be refunded - it was at $.30 on the $1.00. Ripped off by about $4k. Damaged both our house we were moving out of and also where we moved into. Impossible to file for damages. Beware!
