This is the 2nd time I’ve used Gentle Giant for moving services, and if I ever fine myself moving again, they’ll be my first choice (not that I ever want to move again!) My crew, Andre, Dominique, Stratton and Sergiu, arrived right at the time they said, even after struggling to figure out the numbering system of my apartment complex. I had everything packed and ready when they arrived, so we did a quick walk through so I could explain what had to move, and they were off and running – literally, I heard them running up and down the 3 flights of stairs. The crew had to deal with weather that wasn’t the greatest, as it started raining part of the way through the loading of the truck, but they didn’t let it phase them. When we arrived at my new house, they were ready to go. Another quick walk through to tell them where I wanted stuff and they were off and running again. Even when we ran into issues with my box springs going up the stairs, the team didn’t slow down. They finished my move in 5 hours! I thought for sure it would take longer than that, but I guess I shouldn’t have doubted the superior staff that Gentle Giant uses. They even gave ME a thank you card for using them again, and it’s still sitting on my coffee table.

Ive moved a fair share in my life and these guys are by far the best moving company Ive ever used. Gentle Giant helped me and my family move in March 2012 and it was the second time Ive used them (first time in summer 2009). They did an excellent job both times and I will certainly use them again when we have another move. The initial estimate from the online form I submitted was much higher than we were expecting, but I called them to discuss and they sent someone out within a few days to look around and give us a more accurate quote. We havent used their packing services yet, but plan to when we move again. Brett F., Gabe S., and Milos M. did a terrific job during this most recent move. They arrived a few minutes early and worked quickly, but carefully. We had them moving mostly heavy/awkward pieces of furniture and they moved them with ease. At the new house, I had actually incorrectly measured an upstairs interior doorway, so one piece of furniture didnt fit through, but they didnt complain about having to bring it back down the stairs and into a different location. They even helped us troubleshoot ideas on getting it into place! Thanks Gentle Giant for another great move!

Wow! I honestly cannot say enough good things about my experience with Gentle Giant. This was my first interstate move, and just the thought of it was very overwhelming. But Gentle Giant are pros and made the whole process easy. From my first conversation with David R., to the home estimate walk through, to getting all of the details squared away with our Moving Coordinator Sudi R., I felt good in the days leading up to our move. With our old home on the market, we didnt have the luxury of packing ourselves, so we opted to have the Gentle Giant team pack for us. Everything was packed with extra care and very efficiently. I was amazed at how fast the packing team got everything boxed up and ready! I am so grateful for our Move Chief Octavian J.s thoroughness, attention to details, and professionalism. And he was very pleasant to work with! (Give that guy a raise!) The move out and unload teams were speedy and very careful not to damage and walls, ceilings, doors, etc. And I should mention, that they were a very affordable option. It was overall a stress-free experience. Thanks Gentle Giant! You all are awesome!

These guys have to be one of the best full service moving companies around. Scheduling was easy and efficient, they showed up when scheduled. They performed everything they said they would do in an efficient manner. They checked everything before starting and were always quick to show any existing damage before moving. I know this covers them, but you can be sure they didnt do it. If there was ever any doubt as to what needed to be done they always asked and never assumed. All of the boxes were clearly labeled. And at delivery they made sure everything went where it was wanted in the new location. After everything was done they walked thru one more time to see if you wanted anything moved now that you saw it in the new location. If I have to I would definitely use these guys again.

Gentle Giant is awesome!! I had read very impressive reviews on them before deciding to move with them. They are on time, personable, efficient, attentive and very accommodating. Available and willing to help however they can and protect your items. I had two plants (one very tall) and the mover offered to take the plants out of the truck that evening so it could get air, and he called the next day to the movers that were going to transport my items 3 hrs. away, to remind them to put the plants back in the truck. Really!!!! Yes Really!!! Ive moved many a time as a military spouse over a 16 year period and they were the best Ive ever experienced. I highly recommend them.

Weve moved house 5 different times with 5 different movers. We will not use anyone but Gentle Giant in the future. They were INCREDIBLE. The crew was totally professional, worked incredibly hard (practically running back to the house after carrying a load!), and were very, very careful with not only our stuff, but our new house. It was first time I have ever moved where there was zero damage - not even a scratch. They prepared the move-in site with runners, put down felt sliders under the furniture, etc. Their price was about 10% higher than the other guys weve used in the past but they were worth every penny and then some!!!!

From start to finish, the service was abysmal. I was unbelievably lied to about the cost of the move and the "approximations" of mover arrival times. The paper work was ambiguous and misleading. My move included a month of storage which ended up costing me literally twice the amount that I was quoted. I was patronized, hung up on, and overall harshly disrespected when trying to resolve my problems with this company. To top it all off, an item of my furniture was never delivered and everyone at the company now denies the existence of it.

I cannot recommend Gentle Giant highly enough. They arrived promptly and packed up our apartment seamlessly, also getting to our new apartment efficiently. They protected our furniture and assembled/disassembled it effectively. I give them 4 stars simply because they did break one of the drawers in our storage bed, but they gave us a discount and glued the drawer back together for us (the drawer was still usable, the damage was cosmetic).

I assure you, GENTLE GIANT IS STILL IN BUSINESS and still the best! I hired these guys after my brother used them in Boston. Ive never seen young men so polite, articultate, and hard-working; they were truly a lovely surprise. i asked them about this claim taht theyreout of business and this online slander appears to be the work of some rogue company. If I owned another company in the area, Id be worried too; Genetle Giant is the BEST!
