We sold our old house in Chapel Thrill, NC and moved to a townhouse in Hillsborough, NC. In looking for a mover for our furniture, we perused the web and found that Chapel Hill Moving Company received consistently high ratings from its customers. We decided to go with your firm based on those ratings and we are thoroughtly satisfied with the entire process. Setting up the move was simple and seamless, with no guesswork. The movers showed up on time and got right to work. We found that the men moving our furniture were efficient and careful with all of our items, including an antique and VERY HEAVY armoire Murphy Bed. The movers were pleasant, courteous and helpful in every way. We could not have asked for a more positive moving experience. We highly recommend Chapel Hill Moving Company to anyone planning a move in this area. We were very pleased with the incredible service...from working with Ethan to assess what was needed to the three packers/movers assigned to us...all polite, nice, and hard-working. They placed furniture in our new home...helped us figure some of the placement...then moved things when we changed our minds, all with kind reassurance that it wasnt a problem! We have begun to "unbox" at this point, and realize even more how well all was done. Moving from a home of 18 years, with many new purchases through the years, was quite daunting...these guys were a tremendous help in getting it done. Chapel Hill Moving Company relocated my 96 year old Dad at the end of August, 2014. We had sold the Hillsborough farm, and Pop was moving into a similar sized house in Chapel Hill. This was the third time Ive used Chapel Hill Moving Company, and I recommend them highly. For my Dad they packed and moved everything. Then they unpacked and set up the furniture just the way Pop had. My Dad knew where everything was and he quickly felt comfortable in his new home. Their preparation and estimate was very professional. The crew was fast, thorough, and efficient. I think they are the best choice for local moves.

I highly recommend Chapel Hill Moving Company!!! They are professional, friendly, efficient, careful, and total masters at fitting boxes, furniture, and odd-shaped items into limited spaces for safe storage AND safe transport. I have used them twice - once in late winter to move my one-bedroom apartment into a storage unit - and again in late summer to pack the contents of that same storage unit into a uhaul truck (which I then drove half-way across the country - and nothing broke or scratched along the bumpy way!) I suggest them to anyone in the Chapel Hill area who needs moving services. They are wonderful!

The Chapel Hill Moving Company moved a baby grand piano for us from one location to another within Chapel Hill. They maintained excellent and timely communication before and during the move. The 2 movers showed up on time and clearly were very familiar with the requirements of moving our 90 year old piano. The job was done carefully and efficiently.
