I dropped my vehicle off at the Firestone service center in Rocky Mount, NC today for a 9AM appointment at 8:12 AM and returned to work. After no notification of the progress I called at 11:30AM and was told vehicle was being worked on now. After a couple of hours again with no update I again called at 3PM. This time I was told it was ready. No one called me to tell me it was done after specifically asking them to and the service advisor saying they would. I had to call in twice to check on it. I picked up my vehicle and after a 5 minute test drive there was zero change from the issue I brought it in for, pulling to the right. This was their second attempt to resolve this after having an alignment done a month ago. Like many people I dont have the time to be shuttled again and leave my vehicle and be without it for another entire day. I dont feel Firestone respected my time and I feel like the service advisor/tech didnt listen to the complaint. They insisted they rotated the tires but I see that nowhere on the service performed invoice or receipt. Instead all it says is they did alignment check (a point which they noted that is free for one year after you get it done the first time). I told them that wasnt going to fix the issue because the vehicle was barely out of alignment the first time and that didnt fix it. Its obvious they did not do a test drive or they would have seen the problem was not resolved. Dont bother unless you like wasting your time.

Unfortunately, I had to deal with these guys! I blew out a tire & broke a rim on the way back to Massachusetts. I ordered the rim & had it shipped them. They received it on a Tuesday I called Wednesday to be told it wasnt there. After tracking the rim I discovered it was already there. I call them Thursday & explain I knew its been there since Tuesday. They say oh your car is done! At drop off I spoke with Kevin-mechanic who knew alignment was needed I said go ahead align. When I go to pick up car Friday NO Alignment was done!! They do alignment that morning. The car drove horrible noise was coming from front left & right, I had to drive all the way to Massachusetts that way. I then take the car to REAL MECHANICS, who had to re align & had to take a RANDOM UNAPPROVED bolt from shaft that they used! THEY EVEN KNEW THEY DID SUCH A BAD HORRIBLE POOR JOB THAT THEY DID NOT CHARGE ME FOR THE WORK OR THE TIRE! I had to pay more to have their poor work corrected. These guys were actually nice & polite HOWEVER THEY ARE HORRIBLE AT THEIR JOBS!! I will NEVER use ANY FIRESTONE ANYWHERE!! COMPANIES LIKE THIS WILL COST YOU MORE WITH THEIR INCOMPETENCE!! THIS IS THE WORST WORK I HAVE EVER SEEN. IF YOU NEED REAL WORK DONE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!

WARNING fires stone will cheat you out your money and not fix the problem!!!!Went to firestone to get two new tires for the front of my truck. They called me and told me that I needed new brake pads and rotors for the rear of truck. So I told them go head it ended up costing $800 !!!. The next day I was driving the truck the ABS light came on. So I take it back ask can they check it out. Guys says its the brake sensor is corroded and dirty, says he will try cleaning it and it will probably be ok, all Ill have to pay is labor. It ended up costing $75 for labor. Everything was ok until two days later ABS light came back on. So I take it back thinking that Ill just pay for new sensor and everything will be ok. NOPE they tried to tell me I need new rotors, brakes pads for the front and that the bearings were bad.And that the bad bearing were what made the ABS light come on. They said it would cost $600 to fix!!!.Why didnt they notice this the first time I took it in. All there trying to do is sucker me out my money. DO not go to this firestone in rocky mount. They will cheat you out your money and never fix the problem!!!

I have been going to this Firestone since 2014, and have been completely satisfied until a week ago. I went in for a simple engine light check to get a engine diagnostic ran to find out the problem with my car. The mechanic informed me that the code was reading that I needed to replace my catylitic converter and that it would run me about $1300. I asked the mechanic to double check the 02 sensors to make sure that wasnt giving off the code, and he assured me that he checked them thoroughly and that they were fine. For some reason I decided to take it to get another diagnostic test done to find out it was the 02 sensor and the mechanic lied to my face. Either they are unknowledgeable about cars, or they tried to scam me in order to get my money. Regardless of their intellectual ability and skill to perform a thorough test, I will not be using them again. They are not honest people and I would reccomend not going to this location for any engine problem you may have.

i own a shop in florida and my wife was traveling and wound up with a flat. i looked up local shops by interstate and called them. they were upfront about the price, it was reasonable and they got her right in and done quickly. thank you Greg

The staff at Firestone in Rocky Mount are ver friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, and get the job done right. These people really care about my needs and safety first and are honest but polite andsaved me a bit of money.

The staff is very unorganized. Brought my car in for 4 new tires sits for 5+ hours with no work being done I call to find out they have lost the key fob for my vehicle. Will not recommend or give my business again.

This place is so slow. What should take the at the most an hour to do takes them all day. Stay away from them unless you can leave your car with them all day long. Poor customer service.
